I think Izzy Lanier can be the big time corner that we wanted B.Moore to be. He's looking better and better. He got close to a having a pick last week and Buffalo didn't throw at him as much as they did Teague. (Yeah I know it's Buffalo though)

He definitely has the size we need at corner. I know the coaches were really high on Coleman in camp, but he was just getting man handled in the running game, along with getting burned deep in the passing game. I think Randolph has shown some nice things also, except for Buffalo's only TD when he had no clue where the ball was. I think our secondary could start to gel over the next couple of weeks. Here's hoping they do cause we'll need a boat load of turnovers to beat LSU or Bama.

I keep hoping the def will come around and stop giving up the big play.It has happened every game except Montana. It might of happened in that game ,I just dont remember.
Plus if we can ever find the running game period.

I think the Montana game was the 80 yard pass play where Coleman was barely visible in the screen when the guy took it to the house.

Yep. Time for the DL to step up now and get some penetration into the backfield and make big plays.

I made it a point to watch Randolph at the game Saturday and he seems to have a nose for the ball. He was in on a few tackles and was always running toward the ball.

Dooley has said the defense has played pretty well except for the long bust plays we have had every game. There's a stat Dooley threw out there that shows those huge plays have skewed our average yards per play given up tremendously.

Hopefully we can continue to line up properly and eliminate those big plays.

Whose spot would he take? Teague has been our best corner and lanier played great yesterday. Its also not like Evans hasn't played good either.

If our DL cant get in the backfield or hurry or sack the QB it could be a long night. If you give Murray time to stand around in the pocket then we could end up making him look like a heisman contender mush like they made Crompton look like a heisman contender.
Plus we have to have our ST to step up.The cupcake games are done with for the month od Oct.
