Garvich set all the Chattanooga records in passing yards when he was here, and won TN D2 player of the year his jr and sr year. I can't remember his exact stats but he had a cannon, and didn't throw many picks at all.

McCallie also won the state with him.

He ended up at West Point for a while.
I did find his size. He was 6'2 230 lbs.

I take that back, they won the state with Moore at QB.

It gets old after all the freaking hosannahs he's been getting.

I said he was similar, and if you check the earlier threads, I even said it was stronger than clausen's but not that much stronger, and he floats the ball.

Exactly. Potter doesn't develop college quarterbacks. They are great in their system, just like Coleman was. I saw both him and Garvich play, and Garvich was as good as he was. Coleman reminds me of Garvich, but he's not an SEC type quarterback at TN's level, just like the rest of McCallie's quarterbacks.

Coleman had triple Garvich's carreer passing records at McCallie. You don't know what you're talking about.

. can not fault the coaches at all for not putting him on the field. talk about in over your head. our qb play this year has been atrocious and if we cant throw for more than 22 yards next week... watch out. I am completely for giving the ball to boyd the day he signs with us. i saw the clips from the jv game and he looked ok but he is absolutely not ready at this point. i do not think any of our current qbs can win at this level but stephens is the most capable of the 3. it is amazing that we dont have 1 capable qb.

This kid hasn't had any reps all year long. He was running the scout team offense. He doesn't know the system or the plays because he hasn't been practicing them all year long. For a kid that doesn't know the offense (not his fault) he showed a lot of poise and provided spark that no other qb has this year.
