In over 50 years as a fan to be a Tennessee football fan. Worst team and staff in the history of 121 years of football. And based on what the media outlets are reporting as far as our next coach, It may not get much better. If Currie doesn't have the gonads to hire Kiffin if everyone else turns us down, he needs to go as well. Based on what media outlets are showing as our " possible" next coaches, the future does not look too promising. We can only hope they are wrong.

My embarrassment has surpassed my anger at Lane Kiffin. That is saying something. Bring him on.

Kiffin would go 5-7 next year if hired. Probably 6-6 and 7-5 after that. He would probably be able to put together one 9-3 season and would bolt again because that’s who he is. No way that tool should ever get near our sideline again.

I hope the team themselves know how bad they are as well. It can make them better next year or help them decide football isn't for them. I'm ok with either decision they make.

I went to Dollar General yesterday to grab a cheap paint brush for some trim work. The guy in front of me was buying several items and a tote. He dropped the lid to his tote. When he bent down to pick it up he had NO DRAWS. Can't unsee that. I went out to my car to leave and saw a 400 lb couple in a pickup pull into a parking spot. Lady slid out of the seat in her flannel comfy pants and PANTS HIT THE GROUND. I hoped I would never see something worse, but today...

Knowing that he is going to be fired at the first sign of a bad season, any coach would leave as his stock rises.

He would leave after second season

WTH are you talking about? You do realize we just lost for the 4th time to freaking Vandy in the past 6 years? That's more than " a bad season"

they played without passion tonight and for most of the season. Tonight was more like they were playing flag football.

That is why Currie would have to have a UT friendly buyout in place instead of the crappy contract Hamilton prepared... That $800,000 buyout was nuts!

This PC athletic director was more concerned with reinstating Lady Vols than football
That's all we need to know

Oh no, another old fart like me! I agree, watch Doeren turn us down, then what? What’s lower than Walmart? We’ll be begging Kiffin. At that point I’d fully understand him making the administration grovel.

Just wait til tomorrow and I suspect we'll all be even more embarrassed than we are today. And there's Friday... and Saturday.

I’ve been a Vols supporter for the past 45 years and never before have I seen our program at such a low point. We are without a doubt the laughing stock of college football. The AD and the administration should be ran of town. They have not only set our program back but totally ruined any chance of getting a big name coach to lead our program. We are screwed my friends!

I think Les Miles is made for Tennessee. A phoenix coach for a phoenix football program. Why go back to a cut throat Kiffin? Les Miles is the answer to a poorly defined question.

This administration needs to just slow down. Don’t have to make a hire tonight or tomorrow. Just regroup. I’d like for them to gone but I doubt that’ll happen.
