I just don't think Coach Jones or staff can get the job done in the SEC. Coach Jones has did some good things while here and I have been a supporter but tonight changed my thinking. If no change is made I will support the big orange and hope things turn around but confidence will have to be won by on field performance. Personally I am now ready to rip off the band aid and clean house while we have a new Chancellor and hopefully a soon very soon new AD. If I was Tennessee I would be talking to Les Mad Hatter Miles, I think he would learn from his mistakes and hire a great OC and let him handle it. He would just need to concentrate on D and keep team motivated while overseeing everything. I could see Chavis jumping in with Miles to come here. Just a thought, no matter what I have lost confidence in this staff. VFL!!!!!

The ceiling for Butch & Co is 8-4 regular season. It took a fluke play against GA and APP ST to keep them from going 6-6 this year and this is the worst the East will probably be in the next 10 years. The trajectory of this program under Butch turned down this year and I hope the administration doesn't let it plummet too low before making some major changes.

Count me in. The last month has been a failure of epic proportions that you just can't deny. I don't care who is hurt.... You can't lose to SC and Vandy and give up 2,000 yards in the last 3 weeks. You can't coachspeak your way out of those with boosters or recruits.

There are several of these threads up.

We need an official crow buffet thread.

Its f-ing disgusting but I'm gonna be a man and finish the plate. Beak, claws, and feathers.

I am NEVER one to absolve a coaching staff of a team that fell so miserably short of expectations like this...but the injuries were REAL and devastating.

Do we blame Butch for not recruiting enough depth? Is that fair? This was beyond coaching. Austin Peays coach could put together at least some resistance on defense.

I will say this. Nobody cares. Butch is not getting pass with the media or the sports world in general for the injuries...so i'm not sure how much of the blame should go to Butch.

Here is where Butch loses his pass.

Our Offense sets our D up for failure.

Our offense has only worked going really fast and even faster.

I've been able to overlook not playing big boy ball at the line of scrimmage and relying on tempo out of the read option spread with counters and misdirection plays when its been successful.

Almost every time we have tried to slow our offense down and eat up clock it doesn't work. 3 & out, short possession, or turnover.

So what do we do tonight against Vandy after blowing a 14point lead and taking our 2nd double digit lead? We took our foot off the gas and tried to switch the cadence up getting the snap off.

I blame Butch! The strategy at half should have been lets hang another 31 points and score 62 for the game.
