I have had a blast. Everyone that works around here is very nice so far except in the casino tonight i lost in a game of blackjack and the lady said you must be from Tennessee but we both laughed it off. I went to Bourbon Street and it was awesome and different. There was way more UT fans than LSU fans there just by clothing. There was way more than I expected! It was great to hear a lot of people yelling GO VOLS! I also went to the Hollywood casino tonight and won money! But so far its been great! GO VOLS! BEAT LSU!

The corndog aroma can easily waft from Baton Rouge to New Orleans.

I have had a kinda rough time. Everyone that works around here smells like corndogs except in the casino tonight i lost in a game of blackjack and the lady said you sho nuff gonna pay em', but we both laughed it off. I went to Bourbon Street and it was awesome and different. There was way more UT fans than LSU fans there just by clothing... of which the LSU fans were not wearing any. There was way more than I expected! It was great to hear a lot of people yelling GO VOLS! I also went to the Hollywood casino tonight and won money! Unfortunately, I stayed there the next 4 hours and lost it all, my mortgage and I might have possibly sold myself into slavery to some lady called "Delta Queen." Other than that, its been great!

Of course they are nice. They know the entire city was rebuilt from your tax $ and their wallets are full of food stamps for the same reason.

I have been down here since Wednesday. New Orleans was really fun and I did see a few Vols doing the V-O-L-S chant. However, Baton Rouge is very very lame.. Other than Joe's Crab Shack we haven't seen anything appealing here whatsoever.

Looking forward to the game.

Yeah LA is great.. I just moved to Gulfport a couple of months ago and the wife and I visit NO and other cities in LA often.. Very interesting place...

If you like Abita beer you will be passing the Abita brewery on your way from new orleans to Baton rouge.. That is a pretty neat place to check out as well..

Fellers, this is an Agbarn thing, I'm surprised at you guys. Don't trade your old swagger for this foolishness.

The whole corndog business is just too silly to get annoyed about. It is so childish that it makes us embarrassed for them. Barners come around campus and giggle at each other and yell "corndog, corndog". It is the lamest taunt in the world (OK, "Hoddy Toddy" may be worse), but it is apparently the best they can come up with. Some kind of weiner fixation, I imagine. It could be worse--they call Alabama the Crimson Turd.

It ain't even original. The corndog gag was written in the 1960's by Oklahoma State fans about Iowa fans. You remember Iowa, the land of corn and hogs. Corndogs are the local cuisine there. Some brilliant Aubie just switched LSU for Iowa and put it on the internet even though it made no sense at all. Anybody who has ever tailgaited at LSU knows that LSU fans smell like jambalaya, gumbo, smoked andouille, fried shrimp and boiled crawfish.

I was in New Orleans two weekends ago for a bachelor party. It was absolutely wild. I would definitely make a stop in Howl At The Moon if I was you. Awesome place, just don't get caught texting. Everyone down there was very friendly and I had a UT hat on at every moment. It was the weekend we played UF and everyone was saying Go Vols or Beat The Gators. Awesome place if anyone hasn't been there.
