This is the first year since 2016 that I feel that we have an actual chance to beat Georgia. You can also include beating Florida and Alabama on the road. I am now more worried about Oklahoma.
And Mississippi State, I had that one for sure penciled in as a W and I still think we’ll get it done, but they look a lot sharper than they did last year

I just read the OP, including the "this from ConantheVolbarian" byline, to my family. Interrupted conversation and everything, with "this just in."

He got a standing ovation. Though my wife spoiled it all by asking how me being "a twelve pack in" would help the Vols win the game. Spoilsport.

Go Vols!

I do honestly think we can win. Our OL and RBs give us a chance to move to ball plus we've got legit speed and playmaking ability at WR. Defense is solid. My biggest concern is our size at DT and can our 3rd & 4th CBs continue to play up to the standard with McCoy and Gibson and out.

We will def find out alot more about this team after Saturday. Our offense has not been challenged against the bad defense of Syracuse and ETS like we will be challenged against Georgia. If we lose to Georgia then the Miss St game is a must win imo we cannot go into October 0-2 in SEC play. I will be there and hope we end the streak but i just don’t see it happening we have too many injuries and still don’t have the jimmie and joes that Kirby has to beat him yet.

Moi being able to play would be huge in alleviating those concerns. Stockton doesn't scare me. We need to make him beat us. It's our DLine against their run game that is the key. Bailey will play inside with Weathersby, West, and Dye at SDE. So that helps with the depth. But we need Moi against the run.

My Orange dream is to read this afterwards:
"A dark horse no more. Tennessee finally moves on from the QB controversy as Joey Aguilar firmly takes the reigns of this Tennessee thoroughbred in the race to the SEC Championship and a possible 2nd straight playoff." and
"Joey Aguilar shows why he would have been an excellent firefighter as he and the Vols running backs douse Georgia's hopes of an undefeated season and possibly the SEC Championship game." "You know Georgia has been setting this place on fire the past few years, I thought this time we would be ready with the firetrucks."
