Certainly a frustrating loss, but I'm still a fan. Let the losers get off the bandwagon. Many probably were in kindergarten at best in 2004 or otherwise, ones who probably quit supporting the program years ago and probably jumped back on the wagon given the great start. They are not needed. It's like the social media mavens. Talking makes them feel good and they have that right, but they are really useless in the grand scheme of things. They may try to argue against that, but it remains true.

Obviously, no one likes to lose, especially playing badly, but the commentary on firing coaches, releasing players, etc. is ridiculous. Teams have surprised the Vols before and will probably do it again like the competition pe...es did, but I'll take our record and hope for a victory against the commode doors and a nice bowl victory. In fact, I will be happy if the staff and players will work their hardest and best to win, mistakes and all. Nine wins so far is awesome. It would be great to get more.

I think we may have something going here. The competition will be huge in what is by far the best conference (getting somewhat close to top to bottom) in college football regardless of what the suck boys and girls in the media think.

The college football world knows it and the conference knows it which is why there was a post here earlier talking about the uga fans bashing the Vols. Most of them know that we were the team they wanted face the least in the playoffs even if they won't admit it. Some of them may read this site and make comment on the boards, but they are glad we lost. They will try to make fun of that, but it remains true. Also, if they were so great, they truly should have beat us by much more than they did along with kentucky, kent state, and missouri. They may try to deny it, but they were clearly worried during and after the ky game. They know their path is clearer now and I think they have a good chance to win it all, but enough about useless canine breeds (I think dogs are great, but it would be interesting to see what they would think if they were bred (mutilated) like that breed has been.

I loved the Vols when I could only listen to them on the radio, I loved them when I was in school at the university, and I love them now, all of those times despite frustrations.

If I didn't love my Vols I honestly wouldn't be so ***** pissed off at the effort on the defensive side. I still say fire Banks and Martinez at the end of the year. Piss Poor. Sorry I should probably just check out for a while and not spew negative talk.

I am just glad to be back to winning football games! If we can take care of pesky Vandy we will be 10-2 in year 2 which is amazing to think about. If you would have told me that we were going to beat Alabama, Florida, and LSU and the only trade off was a loss to South Carolina and Georgia on the road I would have taken that trade in a heartbeat! GO BIG ORANGE!
