It's Really Tough Being A Tennessee Fan Everywhere in the world (merged)

Some ***hole on ESPN is saying "Alabama is about to win as many National Championships in 12 months as UT has in 70 years". Let that sink in and then vomit it back up :pukeb:

Three things.

1. They are not "about to win" an MNC. Their mouthbreathing fanbase probably thinks it's a given, but Notre Dame is actually a tough matchup for bammer. No guarantee at all, and I think ND actually wins.

2. If we use the same standard as bammer, UT actually has 6-7 MNCs. Some of them are questionable, but for instance, the 1938 team was never scored on. Hard to argue that one, huh? So by the standard they use, it's impossible to win as many MNCs as UT has in just four years....we have more than that.

3. When...not if, but WHEN...they get caught cheating, they will have to VACATE their last two MNCs, and so will have ZERO in four years. :clapping:

these days. I just can't get away from it. And they all have to rub it in my face. Their favorite lines tonight were, "Ya'll find anybody to take your job yet?" and "tell me again when Gruden will be there." Teabaggers!!!!:banghead2:

Thankfully I work on the Arsenal where we have a good mixture of fans. There are more Bammers to be sure, but we have more than a few UT fans here as well.

I even work with a UK fan out here. Of course he denies UK even has a football team and the world doesn't start revolving until BB season.

I live in Huntsville and its bad. The thing that I hate the most is that half of their fan base were not fans until Saban arrived.

If you choose to live in Alabama, then what you get goes with it. In the past, I've been offered lucrative relocation packages to Bammer. Turned them down.

I live in Huntsville also. I hear ya on being the only orange hat around. Just yesterday a bammer fan was getting mad at an Auburn fan in a convenience store for saying uga might beat bammer. LOL! I thought a fight was going to break out, and I guarantee you that the bammer fan definitely didn't go to school there. I was thinking of taking the Auburn fans side of the argument, but just got the hell out of there. Bammer fans are completely nuts. :loco:

This won't last forever. We will be back. Dooley was not up to the job, but with all the advantages that UT has we will be competive sooner rather than later.

My SON lives in B'Ham and he describes that mentality to me all the time. I would say some of our peers would do the same though.

Know what you mean dude. Its why I hate Alabama. The fanbase is so delusional and prideful. I can't stand how they never give any team credit when they lose its 'we played badl.

I'm sure if I lived in TN I would catch h**l too. But I would understand that up front and not gripe about it. I love Alabama football and I love living in Alabama. If it's that bad then move. I work with several TN fans and I don't give them a hard time.

I've met some really good folks here in Alabama. It's all in good fun.

ND will give them fits in on Defense.Alabama wont run the ball against ND. McCarron will get pressure as well, something he dont like. ND rolls in this game. ND 23 Bama 9

That really what it is all about. A little good natured ribbing back and forth. I have never killed a tree or rubbed my junk on another man. I don't lean "that way".

It will be alright, let em talk. I live in Birmingham, so i feel your pain.

Let them talk, they have earned that right. Just remember, we won't stay down forever. (i hope)

Why don't you all just MOVE??...Why live in that hellhole?

Because for me, it's where the money is at. Huntsville/Redstone has some of the best paying jobs in Army Aviation and most of the people that I work with are either retired military or at least did time in the military. Plus the Huntsville area is still growing and didn't take a hit the past few years like other places did.

That's why we have a much more diverse fan base where I work and the smack talk that does go on is mostly in good nature. Hell we got UT, Bama, Auburn, UF, UGA, UK, LSU, Miss St and even a few schools from other conferences (they catch more hell than anyone). So I haven't had the same kind of issues some of these other people are talking about.

I've had the chance of going to Huntsville 3-4 times in my life. My son was on a traveling soccer team that played in some tournaments that were in Huntsville. I must say my wife & I enjoyed the times we have been there. There's some really nice people that live & work there & JMO it's a clean looking place of what I've seen.

I know your pain brother. I noticed that the most obnoxious ones don't really know anything about Alabama. They just like to scream "Roll Tide" at me when they see my Tennessee gear.

I know what you mean, I live in Anniston, Al. Half of these alabubba fans don't have a clue about football, know nothing about Alabubba history and can't name 5 players that start.
