It's painfully obvious why Dobbs cannot throw the ball down the field

It is his consistency that is just bad! He makes one good throw and then one head scratchingly bad throw?? :dunno::dunno:

I am worried this is as good as will ever be as a passer?

He is inconsistent today. We should have 14 more points on the board. Now, the question is, will Dormady play any or much at all in the second half? It should have been a good opportunity for him to get some time in.

I don't believe this for a second, that was a design pump fake to the screen to go downfield. The defender fell down down field and Dobbs still took so long he had time to stand back up and get in the play on what should have been a walk into the end zone untouched.

You can say many many thing about Dobbs and there are things he does well, but the guy can't throw the ball and it has nothing to do with an injury real or imaginary.

Sorry, not sure Debord is creative enough for this "pump fake screen". We still have not learned fades and well designed back shoulder throws.

there have been games when it is obvious Dobbs is not going to run the balll.

This offense is pedestrian in those cases.

Maybe Butch knows to win this game we don't have to throw 60 yards downfield. Dobbs did it versus SEC teams. He obviously can pass downfield.

Yea because your boy Dormady came in and made hella deep throws today.

He looked like a true freshman. I don't know why some believe that he is better than Dobbs. He is not at this point in his career. Josh is a great QB and its pitiful he gets such a hard time on here.
