It's painfully obvious why Dobbs cannot throw the ball down the field

He makes his mind up before the play even develops where he is going with the ball regardless of the defense, double/triple coverage be damned.

Not true, he actually did well on the throw which got us to the 2 or 3 to set us up for the 2nd touchdown. Primary read was screen, but North Texas had it well played. He looked downfield and made a nice throw.

He was way late on that throw too. Would have been a TD otherwise.

As opposed to the slant the should have been picked off, the countless other slants he throws where the receivers get hammered because he hands them out to dry, and of course the absolutely terrible pick at the end of the half?

Biggest question is? Why the hell is dobbs still in there? If the coaches have no confidence in him, get dormady in with the firsts, to get some experience. No better opponent to do it.

I don't believe this for a second, that was a design pump fake to the screen to go downfield. The defender fell down down field and Dobbs still took so long he had time to stand back up and get in the play on what should have been a walk into the end zone untouched.

You can say many many thing about Dobbs and there are things he does well, but the guy can't throw the ball and it has nothing to do with an injury real or imaginary.

If Dormandy was playing it would be 28-0.

Not sure how you could possibly say this a s a fact. We really don't know if he would do much better. Dobbs has been terrible and he has very limited accuracy, but our WRs aren't really running the best of routes. The passing game, as a whole, has been sloppy like most of the year.
