I've been defending him but only bc he would run a spread offense with QB run plays. Tennessee doesn't win big games with a flat-footed QB. We fired Fulmer bc of it.

But now, Butch has gone back to Fulmer's 3 and out strategy.

Out D is actually playing well and is much improved. But they'll be on the field too long if Butch doesn't put JG in to run. Been saying this forever.

You would think CBJ learned after Worley, guess not.

I think D looks better because Georgia caters to Shoop's bread and butter. They played great until they got gassed.... shame.

I think if it gets really out of hand today (i.e. 50-0) that Butch might get fired tomorrow since we have an off week coming up and appoint an interim - maybe Hoke - for rest of season and get an early start on HC search.

Cant beat top 10 teams, loses to most ranked teams, loses to unranked teams (when UT is ranked) too much, does not develop talent.

That is not what Tennessee has paid for.........18th highest.....at least be 18th.

So bad it is painful to watch... rarely do I get thru a whole game. Sad.

What should happen, but doubt it does. Hoke should be made interim and they should bring Steve Stripling back to an on-field role to coach the dline. Good timing since there’s an off week.

When your that low on the list it’s a crapshoot with what you’re gonna get. More times then not you get mediocrity

Bye bye. Go back to a small div I school or a good div 2. Don't try to coach in the South because he does not understand football culture in the south and has not learned in five years. Thanks butch for your time here. Josh gave us real football but you did not have another in the wings.

Sad, but I agree with you. I reversed course and backed Butch because (a) I believed (and still do) that he loves UT Football, and (b) it has always been a flaw of mine to side with the guy who's getting his guts kicked out. But yeah...it's over.

It's just hard to watch.
