Like the rest of you I was freaking out last night. I was throwing blame everywhere and on everyone.

Well let's move on. Regardless if our coaches suck or if our players aren't good enough.

Our fans bought in, bought tickets, dressed up, showed up, got loud, got even louder and were the highlight of the night. The fans at the game looked great and you were loud and caused problems for OU. But let's make our stadium an even better home field advantage. I saw coach jones on the sidelines trying to quit the crowd multiple times. We should recognize the need to be quiet when the offense is on the field, just like Peyton makes it happen. We've all seen him hush Lucus Oil and Mile high. Without a doubt if he were back in orange he would hush all our mouths with his pre snap wing flapping.

Without a doubt we have the best fans in the nation. No one is more committed to their team than us. Can we be better than we are right now? I say yes. Even if we don't do this we still are the best fans in the nation. Our team knows, the coaches know, and the nation knows.

It's unfortunate when we give so much as fans and don't see results and it's even wore with losses like this because the opposing team actually feeds off the fans with their positive results and our negative reactions but it's going to be great when we start winning. But let's show this team we are not only the best fans but the smartest fans.

I've been trying to move on every week for the last 8 years or so. It's getting pretty difficult to do my friend. I'm beyond frustrated.

Tough game. But we did lose to a team that the best minds in sports -Vegas- thought we would. And we did in double OT!!!

What if OU wins their conference? Goes to the playoffs? Herbie thinks they will (I don't). What if they go 10-2? Still crying? Did you see Bowling Green crush MD on the road?

We are a really good team bordering great. Hard to accept but imo yesterday was progress wrapped in pain.

If this games marks the end, or the beginning of the end of this stretch of pain, it's one we might point to in the future. Guys, we are a really good team and getting better. Just more left to climb but the summit is on sight.

Hang tough.

Watch the film and work like heck!! (Clap, Clap, Clap)

You're stuck in the past. Negative fans ran that coach out of town! How has that worked out? Many fans are starting the same crap with Butch. Is he great? Not at all, but I don't want to start from scratch again. He has the program moving in the right direction regardless if some folks believe it or not.

Totally agree but comment on Butch. I think he has all the tangibles to be great. Inheriting a disaster of a program in the toughest conference in the land and people expect miracles. Two top 5 classes in that morass is damn near a miracle. Give it time folks. We ARE progressing.....

I want to get opinions on crowd noise pre offense snap. I think we should try and be silent. Anyone else agree?

I honestly have my doubts that we ARE going to get better. I think Jone's whole offensive philosophy is flawed and will NOT win in this conference unless you have a once in a generation type athlete like Cam Newton running it. The bottom line last night is Oklahoma adjusted to what we were doing on offense and we got exposed. We have a QB who cannot pass down the field and we have wide receivers that are soft and cannot get open. We became one-dimensional and could no longer execute. Couple that Jone's horrible game management in the 4th quarter and it's no surprise that we lost.

As one who was there. It would have been worse without the fan noise. When you spend your entire second half on defense and the offense stays in the no huddle mode, it is hard to get Neyland to settle down.
