Shut up. Stupid thread. Because our head coach won't post a comment on his twitter account every time he takes a dump he must be a failure. We should fire him now. So sick of this "why is he so quiet, he must not be doing anything. . . we must not be on any good recruits' radar, etc." The guy's got more important things to do with his time than sit around and talk to you. What do you think, he's just kickin' back in his lazy boy at home drinking budweisers and watching the olympics? Give the guy a couple of years and let his performance on the field give you a barometer for success. Pathetic.

i have been saying this the whole time....i know we cant expect him to be like kiffin but my god. he needs to tell us what is up. this isint la tech we have a fanbase that cares . i just get this feeling that dooley is a very difficult person. he just seems very standoffish

I do not think other coaches have said a whole lot either. NOt even our x-loud mouth:crazy:

i think he needs to get out a little bit more than what we have heard from him,just to sell more tickets,it doesn't have to be giving out a ton of info or anything,something along the lines of Go Vols we are working hard and need your support kinda of thing,nothing earth shattering

The job of the HC is to coach football, administer the other coaches, overlook day-to-day aspects of the program. It is not spent in front of the cameras, basking about your own glory and demeaning better coaches while you do it. It is also not spending time wondering if Joe Blow poster has their morning fix of up-to-date recruiting news.

If you want for a media whore program, go watch USC. I'm sure you can get some info on how great their recruiting is going and how every other teams recruits will pump gas for a living.

Dooley isn't like Kiffin and I'm damn glad of it!!!

This is humorous. Did you see the product that Kiffin and his staff were left with? 7-6 was a minor miracle. That was probably the best "coaching" that the Hill has seen in over a decade.
