This is the worst UT team of my lifetime. The team Coach Majors took over in 77 was horrible, but this one is far worse. It took Majors 8 years to get the Vols back to a championship level. How long will it take this time. Much longer I'm afraid. Only time will tell.

Well seeing as how I was born in 84....and really didn't follow the Vols until about 96, this is by far the worst team of my lifetime

It is pathetic. It can't take 8 years. Dooley needs to win a meaningful game next year or he may be out in 2.

I feel like Fulmer's last season was even worse. I say that because of how bad we were on offense. We couldn't buy a first down that year. Even though that defense was pretty good, offense is the more entertaining part of supporting a football team. This offense is a smidge better.

How long will they give Wilcox to improve is the question? It almost feels like chavis is still here as many 3rd and longs we give up.. Maybe the Mustang package is just a UT package not just chavis..

Yeah it sucks BUT they are FRESHMAN in college... 18 years old... Geez. The announcers said over and over "has there ever been this many freshman on the field in the SEC??" These guys will get better just probably not as quick as you would like.

I guess I should be glad that I wasn't really a big Vols fan before I started attending last year. I don't have to think about how far they've fallen, and the only place to really go from here is upward.

We are young people...My God!!! 3 Turnovers in First Half that Ga scored on. Hard to bounce back from that.I cant wait for this team to grow up. Justin Hunter is a beast!!!!!! Bray looked good also. Bright future ahead!!!!! Those who want to dwon this team all the time are not true fans....GO root for Bama!!!!! Go Big Orange!!!!!!

I thought the 2008 team where we only had 1 rushing yard in the Georgia game was the worst but I'm starting to think I was wrong

He and the rest of the staff need to be measured after they have their recruits on the field (2, better 3 yrs out).

The talent level out there today does not measure up to the typical weaklings in the SEC.

The offense isn't quite as bad as 08, although it's not far off. This may be the worst defense ever.

yeah, wish fulmer never coached at Tn. we'd be so much better off right now. The 90's would have been fantastic too!! Fulmer's success... was also his downfall. Without him making TN what it was in the 90's.. he'd never have been fired for being mediocre in the 2000s.

Meh, we're just in a recession;we'll bounce back. Plus we're playing with a lot of freshman, you can't expect a NC from kids who were in high school a year ago.

This is what bothers me most is on D. Granted we are very thin @ DT but otherwise depth isnt much of an issue on that side of the ball. Tackling is horrific and not showing much improvement. The attempt Evans made on the 2nd half kickoff was almost comical.
