Agree. I understand. So yes, by definition, part of this is on Dooley. But this falls on Wilcox. You have to know what the hell is going on. LSU had no idea. Even if they got a snap, it wasn't going to accomplish anything and/or they would have spiked it.

It's offical...yea we were snubbed in the last 1:30.

The PI in the back of the endzone was a joke...not catchable..

But that last call...to many men on the field...like LSU didn't. like LSU was set in place, no illegal motion everyone lined up perfectly...

I'm in the middle of the PI call. I didn't see it well enough to know if the WR could have jumped it and made a good attempt to catch it. Obviously Teague held him a little.

It's official we have a young inexperienced team (and a young, less experienced staff) that's all making young, inexperienced mistakes; unfortunately sometimes big ones

I think UT should move to the ACC so they can win 3 games. WE really do have the worse coaches in the nation. Why dont we start looking now and when we get someone we want that can coach, get rid of these bums and let them go back to LT.

I'm inclined to agree with you on principle, considering the rash of bad calls throughout the game, but I only counted 11.

and what about lsu false start? but we shoulda never been in that situation to begin with...needed to run more clock on offense and not give up a damn 4th and 14!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've seen similar situations happen to teams before, well not quite this bad. The bad thing is it usaully breaks the back of the team. I'd say our season will probably start going the other way now. We'll see how they play against Georgia. But my guess is another 7 loss season, at least.:banghead2:

I dont think god hates us, I feel bad for the players. I would have loved to be a fly on the wall in that locker room!!

This is possibly the worst feeling I have had as a UT fan since the LSU loss in 2001, and this game didn't mean nearly as much.

On the positive side though, everyone wants to bash the coaches and yes, that last mistake and the other defensive calls on that last drive were pretty bad, BUT overall UT played a solid game with few penalties. The coaches had this team, however many players short, ready to compete in death valley. To be honest after last week I didn't expect them to be within 2 touchdowns, much less 2 points. So I really think we'll be OK with our coaching in the long run. They will learn from this, and so will the players. The main thing they will learn is that they can compete with anybody. We were close for a half against Oregon, for 3 qtrs against Florida, and until the last play of the game against LSU on their turf. And Simms continues to look better and better, which is a great thing.

I fully expect us to break through in one of the next 3 games (probably not Bama though...), lose a close one against Miss or KY, and go 6-6, which is really the goal this season, to get to and WIN a bowl game, any bowl game, and continue to develop. We weren't going to really win anything significant this year anyway, so as I'm sitting here feeling literally sick, I am trying to see the real silver lining that is there. As someone said before, better a loss like this now than when we are competing for the SEC.

I was watching him on the sideline, when it showed him in the background and he seemed very into the game. He was jumping up and down, very excited. Didnt respond like a player that was transferring. Not to say that he isn't, just acted like he was really happy for the team and really into the "apparent win."
