I think this is a better match up for us than Michigan and probably does a better job in helping us get recruits since we should win this.

The SEC could be holding things up. Technically, LSU and UGA have more wins than UT, so Sankey will want to make sure the dominos fall the right way for the other Pool of 6 SEC teams.

Happy to have a good time a slot and on a good day. I don't care about the opponent. Matters not to me. I want us to win but I'm not one who thinks that these bowl games carry over anything to next season.

What is up with the ticketmaster site for Outback bowl? I don't see how to select to be in the SEC section. And looks like $170 for decent seats?!

The CFPC pays attention to bowl games. Success in your bowl game does quite a bit for your image. Look at all the hype for the Vols after our Taxslayer bowl game.

Those 170 are club seats with access to the club level lounge .. It is one of the nicest club spaces in NFL .. Highly recommend it.. Lots of Tvs couchs and nice restrooms .. Full bars ..I just got 4.. Thrilled able to obtain.. Back in 07 had to pay a premium for these seats

SEC is on the East Side. Just need to know the East Side section numbers. Frankly, we'll be 80% of the crowd so either side or end zone is probably ok.

I agree.

Iowa being a prime example. You would have thought they would have gone into a death spiral after the Taxslayer in Jan. Say what you will about their schedule but they still went 12-0 with a shot at the playoffs.

TN got embarrassed in the 98 Orange Bowl be went on to win the NC the following year.

Or the the rime we blew out MICH in the Citrus Bowl to have a very mediocre season the following year.

OSU wins a NC....this year not in playoffs
South Carolina beats Miami....nothing this year

Ok that is tempting! Were you able to choose your section at all? Ticketmaster is putting me in Sec. 208 when I look for best available.

I bought some in 233, which is part of the club level, the other day, taking a risk that we would end up in Tampa. It let me choose them the other day, but now the site I guess is so congested that they wouldn't let me choose my own seats when I tried a few mins ago.
