It's not gonna happen...but what if it did?

I understand your VN name now.
Flintstone GA is about 5 miles south of Chattanooga, TN. I went to school at what is now Boyd Buchannan School in Chattanooga. My father worked at a foundry in Chattanooga and they got up a bus trip to Knoxville. One person could not go and my father was asked if he wanted to go. He couldn't go but asked if it was okay for me to go. So I went to Knoxville with a busload of moderately intoxicated men. They took really good care of me. One of my better all time memories.

I mean, anything is possible.

Just running my mouth, Rylee, or rather tickling my keyboard keys. As a know-it-all freshman in college, I had my philosophy teacher order me out of the classroom.
He was teaching the basic principles of, I think it was, deductive reasoning. When my turn came to provide an example, I told him:
Anything is possible.
Nothing is impossible.
Therefore, it is possible for something to be impossible.

After about thirty seconds just looking at me, he told me to get out. That was OK because I needed extra time to study for my geometric test anyway.

1986 Sugar Bowl (Miami vs. Tennessee)
Loved that game Miami scored first, they were aligned to play for the National Championship game. 7 to 00, then the Vols scored 35 unanswered quelling the Hurricanes dreams. This team reminds me a bit of the 85/86 team in as there was no quit in either team. Go Vols

On the way to Knoxville from Fl now. With my daughter and son in law (Dawg fans) but we’ll have fun. I’ll be hoping for a miracle.

Each week is full of surprises in College Football. It would be a MONUMENTAL win, and take a Perfect Game from UT. Not likely (21 point underdog) , But crazy stuff has happened. Just play well and Vol fans will be OK with the outcome.

You can tell that the losses over the years are wearing on the Tennessee fan base when they will be OK with a loss as long as they play well.

December 1, 2001.
Game was postponed due to the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Jabari Davis rushed for a TD/ Alex Walls PA to win it. Gators could not convert their 2 point attempt after a TD.
Has absolutely no similarities to this match-up. We were ranked #5 going into that game. Yeah, UF was an 18 PT favorite but that was because they had demolished almost everyone they had played. We were f'ing loaded that year

In the end, depth will kill us. However, we will hang around just like we did with Alabama. Proud of this group, nonetheless.

Uh, okay. I’m very sorry 😣
I’m apparently not as smart as you.

This team always has a punchers chance. It isn't the same team that lost to (and would now beat) Pitt. We believe in ourselves and could win in a shootout but will need a monumental effort on both sides of the ball. We need the perfect game, no penalties, turn overs, missed assignments and UGA needs the opposite. Get up by a few scores and anything can happen!

I believe UGA takes care of business but it is fun to hope. As Shakespeare wrote: "Once more unto the breach dear friends, once more;" Let's battle and see who wins!
