It's not gonna happen...but what if it did?

just now it hit me. I think UT will win this game by 3 TDs. I have a very good feeling about this game.

If we do, I will purchase a bottle of Knob Hill rye or a bourbon whiskey mingle it with Stubbs Original BBQ sauce and crushed garlic. Coat a chunk of Boar's Head uncured Ridge ham, throw it in the oven to semi-caramelize the coating. Serve it with black pepper sprinkled-buttered mashed potatoes, collard greens, and either Jamaican Red Stripe or a Samuel Adams beer. We aren't normally pork eaters, preferring game meats, poultry, fish, or domesticated ruminant meats. But I'm going to break our rules with joy if your prediction comes true. And eat with the relish I did when I was a college student, and with the same lack of table manners. I mean it!

I take one solace going into this game, we may be vastly out talented this season, but I no longer know we are going to be out schemed/coached going into the game.

In 2018 Heupel faced a dang strong LSU defense filled with NFL talent and scored more against them than Alabama did that year with their Kiffin ran, 46ppg, Tua sets the NCAA record for pass efficiency rating offense with his UCF level talent.

We are competitive in games we should never be with GA.

You take out the past 4 years and from 89 to 16 we are 15-11.

This is probably why from my perspective it seems this way. If you factor in the last four years we are 15-15. I can see why either team could find hope or fear as it’s basically a 50/50 chance based on the last 30 years.
To your point though, you mentioned the hail mary game and that is one UT should have won easily anyway with UGA having a first year head coach and a true freshman at QB.

Be very interesting to see what Heupel comes up with for the this D.

Me as well.

Last time he tried, UGA scored 53 on Missouri while CJH could only muster up 28 (2017) but Heupel scored more on UGA that year than anyone else except in the Rose Bowl.

Let us hope Heupel has improved.

Dawgs have won 8 of the last 10. The last 4 by an average margin of 30 points. You must have a very different idea of what it means to always have a teams's number.
It took three coaches of Tennessee for UGA to catch up. And even then that sorry Coach Butch beat y’all twice. Yes y’all have had our number the last decade but that’s on UT not holding their end of the deal. Before that UT has owned y’all! Period!

I’m not one bit nervous about our game this weekend. I enjoy playing UGA because I know we always have a shot because Georgia gonna Georgia eventually and this weekend may just be that game. UGA - where underachieving is a tradition.

Its kind of like imagining what you would do if you hit the lottery. People actually do win that thing.

That's why they play the games. I just want to look competent and prepared . Don't get blown out, beat the spread and I'm satisfied. Score at least 21 points, it would be nice to be the team the scored the most on that defense.

Each week is full of surprises in College Football. It would be a MONUMENTAL win, and take a Perfect Game from UT. Not likely (21 point underdog) , But crazy stuff has happened. Just play well and Vol fans will be OK with the outcome.
Maybe by Friday, Georgia will pull a Florida. Kirby will say something dumb to the media, the locker room will be divided and the dawgs will quit.
A guy can dream can’t he?🤷‍♂️
GBO!!

Maybe UT will be sick of hearing how good that Dawg defense is and play out of their minds. Maybe the defense is embarrassed over making UK look like Bama 2020. It's football, it's not entirely out of the realm of possibilities. The way i see it is, Tennessee is playing with house money and all the pressure is on the Dogs.

UT is probably the best offense UGA will play this year. Anderson is a freak athlete, and is who we use to spy DT QBs. He's out, so I don't know how many points UT will get, but giving up 42 to UK makes me feel pretty good about our ability to score.

On The Josh Heupel Show following UK, he sure seemed happy. I think he saw us do some things in that game that's giving him confidence against UGA.
And for the last 40 years UGA has UGA'd at least once per season, it'll either be his weekend or the NC game..... I'll be happy with either.

What? Heisman?
iu

He'll be running for his life all game. 3 and outs all day, and by the 3rd quarter the five stars will be running over Beasley and McCollough.

I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see this game going well for UT. I'm focused on South Alabama and Vandy, and getting to 7-5 and a bowl.
