It's Les Miles

OP probably wants Kiffin. Kiffin can't keep his mouth shut and focus on his own team, when he was here the first time all he talked about was Southern Cal now he's at FAU and he's trolling Tennessee. I dont think he's matured much it's just when he was at Alabama Saban kept him in line

Considering what we've just been through, for a Vol fan to turn up their nose at Les Miles, they need a throat punch. Get over it.

With Currie being fired with cause, Schiano isn't getting squat from an MOU with only Currie's signature on it. He can feel free to waste his money in the court system, but he doesn't have a legal leg to stand on.
Wanna bet? UT will pay every cent to Currie. There was no cause except he sucked at his job. The blame lies with Davenport for hiring the sorry ass who fired Frank Martin and couldn't get along with Bill Snyder while at K State. They will pay Schiano at least 5 million for dragging him through the mud. These recent escapades will cost us about ten million, way more than the buyout of most good coaches.

It would be a wonderful hire. Great recruiting. Sent a ton of guys to the NFL. Not afraid to take chances. He would be the best hire.
Worst x's and o's in the SEC. Not close. He is pathetic. It's ridiculous to argue that he can coach. He can't. He's garbage. Why the hell do you think no one has offered the clown a job since he got canned?

Les has balls and hes used to going against Saban every year. screw it, hire the guy
Miles was 3 and 7 against Saban. He got those wins in the early years of the Saban era at Bama. Saban owned him the last three or four years that Miles was at LSU.

and whats UT's record against saban? ill wait...

3-7 is an infinite, yes literally infinite, improvement over our record against saban

also, id hardly call losing in OT in 2014 getting owned

My point of view is 180 degrees from yours. Why would we act like crazy people, embarrass ourselves (in the eyes of some), and basically overthrow the AD just to settle for a washed up coach who doesn’t believe in offense?

Les Miles would be a good fit here. He's a good example of the insane coaching changes that prove the old saying"be careful what you wish for":phil Fulmer had a record we'd die for today plus a national championship, and was fired. Les had a great win-loss plus national championship and was fired. How have either of these teams fared since they fired these coaches? these coaching changes plus the buyouts, $$$$,to me is just insane.

In your opinion, would Miles be better for Tn than Butch Jones? If the answer is "yes", then quit *****in...

my take on Les Miles, think he was burnt out at LSU, having a year off to get the fire back to coach. Why not let it be here.

He was a joke of a coach at LSU, and he still is. Can you see him recruiting 18 year old kids. Not happening

I suspect Haslam fired Currie because he was trying to spend too much on a coach after he already blew about 5 million on Schiano's MOA, which changed the level of coach we could pursue. It's funny that people think UT can fire Currie for cause simply because he disobeyed a booster. These people are living in a dream world.

The same gullible people are celebrating Phildo saving the program. This Foolmer was the one touting Doeren from N.C. State.

Make no mistake. The Haslams are still in charge at UT. The slimes hand-picked the president, the chancellor, and the athletic director. Currie was only a puppet and took the fall for his bosses.

Les is by far the best coach who seems to actively be seeking the job. He gets us back on track toward relevance the second he is hired.

Hell no. I'd far rather have Butch Jones. We could fire Butch at any time and hire a decent coach. We won't be able to fire that idiot Miles for at least three or four years. That's a no brainer. Sheesh... Ask a harder question.

1. We cant hire a current coach. We squandered too much money on Currie's buyout and Schiano.

2. Davenport said she wanted someone who had coached in the SEC before as did Fulmer.

It's Miles, and he totally sucks. Get ready to be right back here in three years.

There have been some real *******s come out of the woodwork over the past month. You're making a slow but steady climb to the top of the pile.
