Wanna bet? UT will pay every cent to Currie. There was no cause except he sucked at his job. The blame lies with Davenport for hiring the sorry ass who fired Frank Martin and couldn't get along with Bill Snyder while at K State. They will pay Schiano at least 5 million for dragging him through the mud. These recent escapades will cost us about ten million, way more than the buyout of most good coaches. With Currie being fired with cause, Schiano isn't getting squat from an MOU with only Currie's signature on it. He can feel free to waste his money in the court system, but he doesn't have a legal leg to stand on.
Worst x's and o's in the SEC. Not close. He is pathetic. It's ridiculous to argue that he can coach. He can't. He's garbage. Why the hell do you think no one has offered the clown a job since he got canned? It would be a wonderful hire. Great recruiting. Sent a ton of guys to the NFL. Not afraid to take chances. He would be the best hire.
Miles was 3 and 7 against Saban. He got those wins in the early years of the Saban era at Bama. Saban owned him the last three or four years that Miles was at LSU.
Considering what we've just been through, for a Vol fan to turn up their nose at Les Miles, they need a throat punch. Get over it.
In your opinion, would Miles be better for Tn than Butch Jones? If the answer is "yes", then quit *****in...Worst x's and o's in the SEC. Not close. He is pathetic. Hell no. I'd far rather have Butch Jones. We could fire Butch at any time and hire a decent coach. We won't be able to fire that idiot Miles for at least three or four years. That's a no brainer. Sheesh... Ask a harder question. In your opinion, would Miles be better for Tn than Butch Jones? If the answer is "yes", then quit *****in...
I suspect Haslam fired Currie because he was trying to spend too much on a coach after he already blew about 5 million on Schiano's MOA, which changed the level of coach we could pursue. It's funny that people think UT can fire Currie for cause simply because he disobeyed a booster. These people are living in a dream world.
The same gullible people are celebrating Phildo saving the program. This Foolmer was the one touting Doeren from N.C. State.
Make no mistake. The Haslams are still in charge at UT. The slimes hand-picked the president, the chancellor, and the athletic director. Currie was only a puppet and took the fall for his bosses.
