Technically you're correct, but realistically this loss is brutal. We just got owned by Florida for the 8th straight year, and most Vol fans were already counting this as a W.

To make up for this loss, we're going to have to beat Georgia, Alabama, or South Carolina, and after this game I can't say I see it happening.

Either some of you folks are very young or you really just don't get it. We lost to Florida for the EIGHTH year in a row. Right now, I couldn't care LESS about potential, or how they respond to the loss. Right now, I am very disappointed for the EIGHTH time in a row.

That is a given. But, all this calling for Dooley's head after this game are a bit much. We are going to lose games this year, people are acting like we were going undefeated.

At this point, it is what it is. Florida is the better team and it really showed in the 2nd half.

I agree it's early to be calling for his head, but you have to admit this is a very crushing loss. Let's face it, most of us really thought we should and would win this game. And the way we lost doesn't help.

Umm no I dont think a loss is ever good...but umm yea this is still just 1 loss..if our football team is as weak minded as you are than they will lose next week to akron...no need in worrying about what happened last week..

Calling for the coach's head after any loss is a given. And before tonight , we WERE undefeated. I'm sorry, but this loss is rough for me. I have despised the Gators far too long to just take it on the chin. Tomorrow I will feel differently. Tonight I am MAD and I don't care who knows it.

Few people are "freaking out." Most are quite logically stating that our beloved team continues to have the same problems and inadequacies that it has had for years and that this is unacceptable for a program of Tennessee's caliber. A lot of these people who are pointing these things out, rationally and calmly, aren't just fans-- we're alumni who have been supporting this university for decades. It's far more than one game to us, and it matters. A lot.

Agree. But, its a long season. This was one game.

We were a bit over hyped, and i was scared of this game for the very reason that played out in the 2nd half.

I have defended Chaney, but his playcalling is downright stupid sometimes. Terrible play calling in the 2nd half.
I will eat crow for defending Chaney. He is not an SEC OC at all. I was wrong.

I don't feel its so much that we lost this game. Although it freakin sucks really really bad. It was the fashion in which it happend. I try not to be the bashing type but it seems as though Dooley and staff have a hard time getting 4 quarters out of any of the teams since being here. It seems like they go get on facebook or twitter at half time and say "meet ya on the field in 20" Obviously, thauut's not the case but I was hoping to see a major improvement from the staff in that area. Its still a young season with plenty of football to play so maybe things will get better as we go. I for one..: am staying behind the staff and this team until they no longer wear the orange and white!
