when we switch coaches and schemes every 3 years. the first year is always a wash against rivals. and now they figured out butch has coaching deffeciencies.

also when your coach doesn't realize how to coach against sec defenses on the road.

What were we suppost to do? They stacked the box and went tight man to man. We couldn't hit a receiver when they managed to get separation. And Florida's D is top 10 in the country.

I don't feel you can say he has deficiencies yet when he has Mac talent QBs and big east talent almost across the entire roster

You sir are correct.
Anybody who knows anything about our football team knows this.
He can't even spell the word "deficient".
Some people just want to......
i'm not wasting my time.......it just scares me how many vol fans who consider themselves "informed" act like they know what's going on. This aint the late 90's.

The only thing that is for sure, and the jury has returned a verdict, is that we have some of the most retarded, delusional, and cry-baby fans in the country. Or at least top
5.

...when your AD schedules like you are the defending Super Bowl champions every damn year.

Would you like some cheese with that whine?

During the off-season, this place wore UT's schedule like a badge of pride.

You play the schedule you have...and by the way, that UF game was winnable.

I would lay some serious cash that if last week you would have said UF will lose Driskel in the 1st quarter and replace him with a guy that had never thrown a pass in a game that this place would have popped champagne bottles.

Call it whine or whatever you wish. It doesn't change the facts. We have not scheduled very smart. You can't rebuild if you are constantly behind the 8 ball. Bravado gets you no where when it comes to scheduling. Bama had a schedule three years ago with a bunch of tough teams in a two without a week off and they promptly lost a couple of games that otherwise they might not have. I'm sure Saban had some choice words about that too.
Football coaches say you play the schedule you a have and behind the scenes your AD should be working to at least give you some help.

Kind of like going into a season with a weak run defense and the first two games are on the road against future Heisman Trophy winning rb's (1981 for example?). The problem is that these games with the Pac 10/12 are scheduled 5-8 years in advance and Tennessee is such an up and down team historically that down turns are too common to schedule around. I will still take a beating over the embarrassment of buying out of a series like we did North Carolina in 2010. Fwiw, we finished 8-4 in '81 with quarterbacks just as average as what we have now.

You do know schedules are made years in advance, right? So yeah....stop whining about the schedule.

Butch is the right man- just give him time. I know, we have all suffered a long time already, but changing again is just crazy. Dooley was a loser , enough said. He would have to have had Bama talent just to go 500.

Nah, I will continue to make my point same as you. This will draw more hatred but I think we should stop playing Alabama yearly. It is putting us at a competitive disadvantage because UG, UF and South Carolina don't play them every year. It wouldn't be running from them because when we get good again we would see them in the SEC championship game most likely. Also, we would still rotate them. We play in the SEC so it isn't like we won't always have a pretty damn hard schedule. Let the flaming begin.
