I think I have moaned and groaned enough now that I can move on and look forward to the next seasons, B-Ball & recruiting season. I hope necessary changes are made in the coaching staff, whatever those necessary changes are, and I am sure that CPF, CJC, and CDC recognize our weaknesses and will work on those. I hope our guys will be motivated this off season to get tougher, smarter and better. I still think one main area we have lacked has been leadership on the team itself.

Thank you to Jason Swain, Marvin Mitchell, Wilhoit, Turk, Antwan, J.Wade, Cooter and of course Justin Harrel and the rest of this senior class for being Vols.

we need another Al Wilson. Someone who wont put up with guys who dont try or complain.

...and being our best defensive back of the year necessarily means that he was a GOOD defensive back?

I'll admit that he came up with a few good plays throughout the season, but by and large, a below average cover and a piss poor tackler.

Why the hatred towards Wade? He's had some great plays for us and was the best tackling DB other than Hefney.

No hatred....I just don't think he's much better a DB than he was a receiver. He's average, and filled a need while he was here. I respect him and thank him for his effort, but I certainly don't envision a long and prosperous NFL career for him, unless it's in the concession stand at LP Field.

Come on now J. Wade ? J. Wade true enough has made mistakes and gave up big plays, but however he has made key tackles and interceptions as well. Now if you had said Antwaun Stewart, then i would agree totally.

another class leaving UT without a ring. it used to be great to be a tennessee vol. now we are just a stepping stone for the better teams. we still have basketball though.

in everyone of your post you are making it sound like we are vandy or ole miss.we suck but not that bad.
