I was not at the game. But as it was going off the air I know I heard it.It so props too our fans for showing our players and recruits that real Tennessee fans love them and appreciate the hard work and effort even in a loss.

I was at the game til the end. It happened, and I was proud to yell it with all the diehard vols. Told my buddy with me that, "if the team doesn't quit on the field then we won't quit on them!"

I too was at the game. I made the choice to stay until the very end. I wanted to see all the bandwagon Bama fans cheer, knowing TN football will have its time soon.

I told my wife before the game that all I wanted to see was some improvement. I think we all saw that whether it's just the qb change or anyone else who has gotten better. If the first quarter would have gone better we would have had a chance but I'm not complaining. IT'S GREAT TO BE A TENNESSEE VOL!

I was proud of the way Dobbs played tonight. Of course I wished the Vols would have won, but they did show some fight. At least they did not get rolled over last Texas A&M did the last week. I hope we can move forward and take the positive from this game. No more "morale" wins, but I think Dobbs should be playing the rest of the year. Imagine if we had a decent offensive line. Maybe I am optimistic, but I hope this is beginning of a new era.

I abandoned moral victories. Either you win or you don't.

Having said that, we were able to keep more orange in the stands to the end of the game as compared to years past. There were still a lot of "early leavers," especially in the high-dollar seats.

Also, to the credit of our band and the PA System, the Alabubba fan base wasn't able to pull off an effective Rammer Jammer. The band played Rocky Top then closed with the TN Waltz. It served to squash the little, spoiled voices of the red-team supporters.

Yeah that was cool. Our band and student section was rocking. They would not let bama get anything started. It was fun to watch and boy was it loud.

I loved watching the crowd on TV, with the shakers and screaming, finally back in full force -- you all at the game looked great !

It was amazing, the team played their hearts out to the last second and vol nation rewarded them with our appreciation. It was as if the fan base was saying "soon we shall wake from this slumber and when we do...watch out!" Gave me chills :) its great to be a Tennessee Vol!!!

Did anyone notice, I believe it was Owen Williams, try to make a tackle on Simms in the 4th quarter. He wasn't able to make the tackle but he gave it his all to dive and try and make that stop. I think he may have got dinged up on the play too.

That play made me realize this team is playing their hearts out to the very end.

I was at the game and stayed. I was very proud of our guys. This team never quits. Speaking of Bama fans... never have I been around such an obnoxious, rude, and disrespectful fan base. It was awful being surrounded by them. I can't wait for our time to come around again.

Future looks much brighter with Dobbs.

I'll be the first say it - I was not a believer in Dobbs. But I thought he played great. And what a difference it made having him as a threat to run. He proved me wrong this game and am glad. I see a much more potent offense with him in.

100% agreed. I too was surrounded by them. There was one in front of me cursing our band, team, etc. He was obnoxious, rude, and disrespectful.

That was a pretty awesome moment. Me and my wife stayed until the very end and were singing at the top of our lungs. No moral victory here but I am so proud of our boys the way they fought until the end and I think we as fans need to do the same for them! We were in section u in row 4 and were surrounded by a bunch of fans who did not want to get up and cheer all game long. I do believe I probably got on their nerves when we were down 28 to 0 and I was still screaming at the top of my lungs. We did get to sit right behind Michael Palardy. He seemed like a pretty cool guy.
