Should the Vols be on upset alert? :) Does the rain help/hurt anyone? Obviously our opponent is heavily over matched but I wonder if this will slow down our offense any...

I hope the forecast changes. Right now calling for 50% scattered showers. Hate tailgating and watching the game in the rain.

Somehow...I had a dream/wish that once the season started..."thread quality" would improve...

My wish for VolNation is a "Relentless Pursuit of Continuous Improvement" in "thread qualities"

I agree. I'm going to the game and hoping the rain holds off for various reasons. For Crossville they already have us listed at an 80% chance of rain Saturday. Hopefully it doesn't rain until before or after the game. The field is supposed to be really good at resisting moisture.

Just unplug your computer and go back to bed. Vols win by 50

I cant see us doing anything special. I can see us slinging it all over the field the 1st half then getting Bray, Hunter and CP out soon as possible then turning it over to Worley and the run game. Think that would be ideal and have everyone healthy for UF. Can see Blanc, Bowles and Carter getting more meaningful playing time and catches. Can see Tom Smith and Toney getting some runs this wknd as well.

Usually, rain CAN help a passing offense, because it is harder for a CB to cut on coverage, but receivers slip too, so yeah.

After reviewing the data from various popular weather websites I've come to a statististististical consensus of a 55% probability of liquid precipitation on Saturday. That number will change 47 times over the next 3 days. Be sure to check back often for the latest weather updates. I'm salutethehill. Now back to you Shocker.

Actually rain (unless it's a flood) is not an issue for the passing game. Many coaches think it gives the passing game an edge due to route running.

Depending on how hard it's raining, it can drastically effect the passing game in a negative way.
