Whatever happens, I'm starting to get worried that the internet fan base will turn into the embarrassments that the Arkansas fans became, which actually damaged their programs credibility.

I'm for a change as much as anyone else, but if things really go overboard, I'd rather keep fulmer than see idiots digging through his phone records or something like that.

A bowl win doesn't count toward the 8 needed for an automatic extension.

of course that means that they would have to beat someone that is probably better than them. doubtful.

We don't really play anyone else that is too good this year. I mean yeah each has held there own with certain teams, but we should be able to beat them regardless of the coaching situation.

I mean SC always have SS, so we always have to watch out for him. Yeah Vandy started 5 and 0 or whatever, but lost there last 3. Kentucky held there own to Alabama, but got blown out by Florida. Then Wyoming, i hope to goodness we can beat them.

Sorry Guru...a bowl win does not count towards the 8 win requirement to kick in the extension.

I think people should worry about what they say on here if a highly publicized coaching search goes on at UT. We've already seen regional media use posts from VN in irrelevant daily sports news. If the drama is as high as it was at bama with Saban and R Rod, everyone will be doing a story on UT and will be looking for free easy content.

But most of the idiot posts on here are trolls so I am not really worried about VN's public perception. I would be embarassed as hell if one of my rants got publicized in the AJC or something. So watch out, you may become the posterboy for ignorant volfans if you flipout on here.

And if you are worried about embarassement from messageboards to the point that you would keep CPF, I would suggest laying off the boards b/c it will only get worse on here if he stays.

Ut would have to win 4 games in a row for that to happen. They havent been able to win 2 games in a row yet so 4 would seem nearly impossible.
