This is getting pathetic. I believe in conversation and actual debate, but when you put that if your true fan you will not comment on the state of the program being negative or positive. That's just plain nuts. I have been a fan of UT sports for nearly 30 years, and that's longer than a percentage of the posters on here has been alive. It's getting sad that part of the fan base is getting to the point of using tactics that if your not with us your against us and if you don't like a certain coach or player you can leave then. I remember when fans of the Detroit Lions bashed the coach, players, and even the water boy, but they still backed there team. I love the Vols and sometimes I may not agree with someone else about the way the program is ran, but that doesn't make me any less or more a fan than the next guy. I know one thing though, no matter what anyone says I will always back the guys in orange every Saturday. GO Big Orange!!!!!!!!!!!

Constructive criticism is the key. If someone says "We need to run the ball more efficiently next season." I will agree with them.

If they say "We need to fire the entire staff and start from scratch, even though having three head coaches in two years is the biggest part of our current."

Then I normally tell them they are not real fans and their opinion is not worth listening to.

That's just it ... I don't care about Dooley ... I love Tennessee football ... UT will be here long after any of the coaches and players.

What is idiotic about that response? You really think firing Dooley after two seasons would have been a great idea? 4 head coaches in 5 years? That's a great way to build a program!
