While I don’t disagree, they are not as bad as their record indicates either. That schedule did them no favors. There is a reason the spread is only 3.5 right now. It will be a war imo
That and TN is s bad - “good team” while FL is a good “bad-team.

This TN team hasn’t improved throughout the yr- including coaching. I will watch the next two games with little expectations, yet hoping for two wins as I love my Vols and despise FL and Vandy.

I have not seen the Vol team “ physically “ dominate any team this year other than the directional
schools. UF may have a bad record, but they are VERY physical. Tough match up.

My psychiatrist has me in concussion protocol after the Georgia loss.
Florida has every thing to play for: this is their season right here, they 're playing at home against an arch rival. SEC teams have called our defense " soft " and been proven correct. I don't have any faith that our defense can stop a late winning drive by Florida. But I hope I'm wrong.

We have suffered time and time again in the Swamp. I think we have finally ran out of ways to lose there. Tonight the curse is over! Put a little pressure on them in the second half and they will fold. Go Vols!

Ut often makes Florida look like national champs. I remember one year when the starting QB was knocked out early and the back-up came in and looked like a Heisman walk off.

Vegas has the game as slightly better than a FG difference.TN seems to play to the level of the opponent for the most part in SEC games. Do we score on defense or give up a defensive score? Is there another 14 point swing SNAFU play? Do we miss a FG? Do we finally play a “clean” game against a semi-quality opponent?

Who knows? 50/50 for me.

The "urine smell" at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium is a widespread issue resulting from a 2015 proposal by a University of Florida professor to collect urine to use as fertilizer for the field. While the proposal was a scientific one, it did lead to a permanent system being implemented and the current practice is to reroute a wastewater facility discharge to the stadium. There are current reports or indications of the stadium consistently smelling like urine, and there are known widespread reports of such an issue.
  • Proposed urine collection system: UF professor Treavor Boyer proposed collecting urine from stadium urinals to separate and reuse as a nitrogen-rich fertilizer for the field.
  • Current practice: At the time of the proposal, waste was being sent to a wastewater facility, which has changed.
  • Current status: The proposal was a specific scientific initiative and lead to a permanent implementation of the urine collection system. There is evidence to suggest a pervasive urine smell is an issue at the stadium today.

I definitely get Vols fans and others doubting us today due to our history in the Swamp for two decades and how we have played on the road. However I feel confident!

Florida has a lot of injuries (Eugene Wilson, Dallas Wilson, and we have the better quarterback. Gators do not have the QB Bama or Georgia has or the defense OU has. Gators cannot close games either.

Joey and the passing game gonna torch the lizards and Lagway will show he is mid like he does against solid to good teams. Give me Tennessee 31-24! GBO

George Gumbs Jr. who gave the puppies and other ranked teams some problems and a starting DL (Boireau) are also out tonight. Their best safety Thornton is questionable so maybe he will at least be limited. Some of the guys they have out are the last guys they can afford to loose.

Feeling good about a TN win tonight especially since Lagway and Florida cannot close.

No doubt we are the better team …. But we just can’t get over the swamp jinx appears …. Maybe it happens tonite . Their defense is good enough to cause us some
Problems and turn us over . I think our front d line will give lagway hard time also . This game I see as a turnover feast . Going down to the wire
