Well...I'm packing the car, getting ready to head to Bristol. Lived (on the TN side) there for 16 years and looking forward to going back, especially for a VOL game. After our lackluster showing against App, I'm looking forward to a breakout game.

Hope there are many pics of the scene...I'll see if I can get some posted. Taking my binoculars so I can see, and hope all Vols (and Hokies) travel safely and see a good clean, injury free game with a big Vol win.

But...gotta be honest, I really, really dread dealing with the crowd and the traffic...been to many a race there, and it can be brutal.

Post any pics you may have if you're already there! Looking forward to singing Rocky Top (no woo) with my Vol Brethren!

Go Vols!

It makes me proud to know so many out of state people are vol fans, as most of their state area is closer to UT than us far western Tennessee folks. Maybe even west of Nashville. Go Tennessee (vols)!! We over here are pulling for the home team and would love to be there. As for getting out of Bristol, just stay a little longer and enjoy.

I'm making final preps. Binoculars check. Still need to get a 24 pack. Need some sort of gameday food. Hoping I get there in time for the free parking. Got that row 49 student ticket and a whole lotta drinking to look forward to.

I'm currently at work. Asked for a half day off. Just a few more hours and I will be leaving to head to Knoxville to meet up with a friend. My car is packed and ready to take off. GO VOLS!

Been waiting for this freakin game for 3 damn years!!!

Only thing left for me to do is make jello shots and help Hubby pack the car. We're only 30 minutes away and meeting up with our party of 9 at noon tomorrow.

I want to echo gvol's sentiments in wishing all safe travels, an injury free and competative game and a big ol fat W for our Vol's when the clock clicks down to 00:00.

:yahoo::rock:

We're all set up right across from the track. It was pretty empty yesterday, but people are starting to roll in now.

The Goodyear blimp is flying overhead, and the parachuters are practicing.

Those with cameras, be sure to take a large telephoto lens with you. Traffic on the Vol. Parkway was really bad at 5 PM yesterday. I can only imagine what it will be tonight and tomorrow.

The Fighting Haslams are going to kick butt! Don't you just love to see corporate badges on these beautiful orange jerseys?

Play nice and try to leave everything as you found it. I want to have something to go back to in a couple of years.
