It's not M.East. I'm hearing that it's a 1-AAAA school out of state. Don't want to put anything out there that isn't public yet.

I like the guy even though he's leaving us so soon. I'll have to say he's left us better than he found us.

Travis Hart from McMinn Central is being announced as G-P's head baseball coach tomorrow.

Do you know anything about him?

Well, it's that time of year again. Opening day is less than a month away. I can't wait. Jefferson County has their first scrimmage today against CHS.

Same here rev. We got put out by Cocke County on the second day. Our defense played poorly and we aren't good enough to overcome errors. I am looking forward to summer ball as well. I think our first games (doubleheader) are the 27th.

For now, I am enjoying spring football practice. We scrimmage Elizabethton on Thursday.

Btw, I'm pretty sure one of our kids is transferring to GP next year. I hear he's been seen hanging out in your dugout.

You can't be mad when the Cocke County coach is a Jeff Co graduate.

Jeff County defeated Halls 12-2 last night. In all fairness to Halls, they were missing several players due to suspension. They should have all of their players back when we play them again next week in Ooltewah.

Ouch! Jefferson County was on the wrong end of a 12-1 beatdown by defending Class A State Champions Jackson Christian.

After a defensive meltdown against Halls and wins against Franklin County and Bradley Central, the Patriots are 6-3 (3-1) on the season. They face winless Morristown East this week in District play.
