Bynum had a better season than Howard, and he's 2 years younger. I'd say Howard is likely to be the better player in the near future, but the Lakers would be dumb to pull the trigger, IMO.

This. People are totally brushing aside the fact that he is having back surgery.

Jared sullinger was a stay away because of potential back issues. Dwight's have hardly been mentioned.

Then again, he has given us plenty else to criticize

Howard's situation has gone from bad to really, really bad. Lebron's situation didn't drag out for well over a year. It didn't spread
Like cancer throughout the entire organization.

It was a one hour debacle, not a continuing circus show.

I don't think the two are even comparable.
