I think the Cotton will be a no-brainer for the BCS with all the cash that'll be rolling in after the move to the new stadium. Stadium concerns were the primary reason for the snub in the first place. A lot of us are old enough to remember when the Cotton Bowl was one of the most prestigious games played on New Year's Day.

As crappy as the Vols played this year, they still should have finished with 8 wins. I fully expect Kiffin to get the Vols at least to 8 wins with the talent that remains. If he can get the talent to perform better, then 10 wins is obtainable.

I agree with volnmiami, lets get seven wins under our belt!!!!! Also lets give New coaching staff a year or two to get it going before we start counting big bowl games.

Optimism and reality are not frequently bedfellows. I would rather by appreciative of a strong first year by CLK than have my hopes dashed waking up from a pipe dream.

BCS Bowl....We have 8 home games and Kiffin said he wants to make Neyland a very tough place to play again. If we win all 8 home games and maybe 1or2 away games then we are right were we want to be the following year with recruiting!

Next year: I predict either Outback or Peach. In 2010---Capital One or maybe a BCS.

If Kiffin and crew can put together 9 wins next year I would gladly crawl to Knoxville with palm branches and a donkey, put him on the donkey and sing Hosanna into Neyland Stadium. With that said, where can I find 100,000 palm branches cheap for everyone else who wants to join?

I have not been this excited since CJM was announced as the head coach in 1977. I hope CLK's immediate results are better than Coach Majors...I lost a few wagers and ate a lot of crow until 1983 when he posted his first 9 win season. What do you t hink would happen to CLK if it took him 7 seasons to get 9 wins? I shudder to think. GO VOLS

Outback or Chick-fil-a most probably but I'd take a Liberty Bowl appearance about now.

the Music City bowl,i'm hoping for much better than that,but it is all new coaches,new systems to be learned,and getting all the players to buy into all the new changes too and we still have the same QBs,recurting coaches and players to still be done,so who knows ?all i can say is
