It's Already Started

Cotton Bowl has gone down to the fourth sometimes fifth best team in the SEC. While the Big 12 has it's third best team and SEC still proves it's top to bottom talent.

Sugar Bowl -- yea I said it.

But really, I am feeling the Capital One Bowl. Second in the East and 2nd or 3rd overall in the SEC

Cotton bowl usually picks a SEC west team if possible.

O said he was going home for New Years.

Music City Bowl is what I'm feeling. In 2010, we'll be packing our bags to Orlando.

I have a feeling the ACC wont let this happen. ACC will refuse to accept invitation to plat UT. Just like La Tech refused to play a Sun Belt team this Year.

What bowl game do you guys expect to see our vols in next season?

I used to get upset when then UF Coach Steve Spurrier would say you can't spell Citrus without UT.

In 2009, I would love to see UT in the bowl formally know as the Citrus.

So, here is hoping UT wins 9 games and makes it to the Capitol One bowl in Orlando.

9 wins is not out of the question next season with 8 home games (with big wins over AU and UGA), and a road win in Lexington to make it 25 straight over the mildcats.

Isn't the Cotton regarded as one of the most prestigious bowls of the postseason? I would be ecstatic to play in the Cotton.

The selection order is the same between the Chicken and Cotton, but the Cotton pays more. This, along with its tradition, causes it to generally be regarded as more prestigious.

I'm not sure what this is supposed to mean, but I am confident it is wrong.

I think we do better than the music city bowl. I dont think a 7-5 or 8-4 season is out of the question. In fact looking at the schedule I dont see any reason we cant get 7 wins or more.

We better be in a BCS bowl next year. Why the low expectations from everybody?

cotton is still a decent bowl, bot nowhere near as good as it used to be after it got snubbed by the bowl alliance. from what i hear, though, the cotton is going to make a bid to be in the bcs rotation after the contract ends with the 4 major bowls in 2010.

Being held in a new stadium being a cash magnet is gonna be a big time vote for yes on that issue.

Kiffin was hired in late as far as recruiting is concerned. I would love it if we did somehow manage to get in a bcs bowl. I just dont think it will happen this year. In 2010 maybe.
