They aren’t legit. Trump and DeSantis are more alike than not and will play the politics it takes to get s**t done. Just look at dementia Joe and heels up. If they can stab each other in the back and then put on a face in the end then ANYONE can.

So the fact that the two main contenders for 24, one of whom has consistently supported the other, are about to be at the same convention, is irrelevant? Seems like a Smart Guy conclusion.

23 months before the start of the Republican primaries? Yes that makes it pretty much irrelevant. Trump took a “shot” at DeSantis a couple of months ago and the story died within 12 hours.

I'm not sure what you or LG are expecting to happen. Are they supposed to have a hissy with each other? Roll eyes at each other? Call the other a boo-boo head?

Whatever policy differences won't matter right now. Today, February 2022, either one would be a more desirable alternative to what we have right now.

Right now, they are just the wrestling tag team entering the ring and about to beat up the Mulky Brothers (Biden and Kamala). At some point in 2024, they may (or may not) decide to break up the team.
