We are the UT and we are having to go through this crap. I never thought we would be in this position - and boy it is painful. Here we are nearly halfway through the season and every weekend is heart break city.

I want to blame someone - so where should I start?

Mike Hamilton. Fans who think 6-6 is the same as 9-4 because neither involves an SEC title. Lane Kiffin, just because he deserves to be hated for anything in life.

ehhhh it happens to alot of programs....might take a couple years(its not gonna be easy)

but eventually..the vols will be contenders again

This year has been weird for me. For some reason I enjoy watching this young team even with the struggles. I don't know if it was my low expectations anyways or just liking the fact that these young players will be absolute beasts that we see grow right in front of us for 4 years. I think it's the latter.

I've been an avid supporter of all three of the recent Vol coaches, but the prior 2 should catch the most flack IMO. Phil for the downward slide, Kiffin for screwing us over... Throw Hamilton in there as well. If that don't work, Blame George Bush.

Cutcliffe, if he would have never returned after Ole Miss, Phil would have been fired a couple years earlier and we would have already rebuilt.

Everyone including me are on pins and needles right now but we will have to be patient and look at the season when it is over.I personally think DD is a good coach however I worry about recruiting..Only time will tell.

I think most of us realize that. But its nice for another fan to say so. I haven'y followed Miami closely, didn't you all go through several down years? It looks like your much improved and on the rise. How'd your program rebound?

surething---what are you crying about? What can this team do to make you happier?? Oh, I know nothing. One team wins the national championship, the rest of them just fight like hell to do what they can.

I don't know....I am actually not as depressed as I am encouraged. My attitude has changed a bit in the last week. You can't be on top all the time. We are on our way back up...IMO.

and...it's Bush's fault! :birgits_giggle:
