It'll be all good.

We could have zero injuries and the team rested and at full strength and still not come within 3TD's of Bama.

I disagree. Bama is good but very beatable. I was at the game and have re watched it a couple of times. They are not that much better than us and at full strength they would be no better than us. I hope we get to play them again in the SECCG and if we do, I think we will win.

This might be the most laughable post ever. I mean ever. Would UF beat us again if we played again? They rushed for 400yds on us and we had just over 150yds of offense. 43yds of offense in the first half and half of that came on the first drive.

Injuries or not we are not near Bama's level and the only way we could beat them is if Butch, Debord and Shoop were coaching them.

The results of one game have nothing to do with the results of the next. Look at the last 80 years of same season rematches in the NFL and college. The saying "it's hard to beat the same team twice in one season" came from experience.
I just personally experienced this week a team beating a team in the playoffs by 21 points that had lost to that same team by 31 earlier in the season.

Why don't you mark my post and we'll revisit after the SECCG? Until then, keep on laughing.

Mostly

UF will lose - if nothing else in the SECCG
We will get moderately healthy.
We will have our best season in decades.
If you like a glass half empty we have shot our playoff hopes in the foot so there is still plenty to ***** about.
If you like it half full we still have a chance at an SEC title.
If we are lucky we have a second crack at Bama.
If we are lucky we won't have a second game against Bama :)

I'd still take that loss and beating all our east rivals over previous years results.

No I am not asking you to settle, ***** away.

No problem, mon!

Yeah, they would have beaten us 49-17. Bama is not only better in personnel in depth but they are light years better in coaching.

We will get rolled again by a similar margin only to have the sheep come out and defend 3SB (3-star Butch) and Shoop's overrated ass.

Just like they rolled us last year?

Give us our best defensive players back and we turn that game into a defensive battle just like last year.

Sutton, JRM and Kirkland wouldn't take away 400yds rushing. Shoop's schemes suck and he is massively overrated to be making the money he is. Last year has absolutely nothing to do with this year.

Bama is better this year than they were last year and we are worse. We almost to terrible Appy St and UGA teams and got exposed against A&M and Bama.

Most of the rushing yards were big plays where the linebackers were out of position... JRM and Kirkland most definitely would have made a difference this game and A&M.

I agree. As I stated before, instead of getting beat by 5 TD's we would have only got beat by 3-5 TD's.

LOL.....like that will happen. That is a hypothetical question because it ain't happening. We are too poorly coached and we are weak. Our defense has sucked even before the injuries.

How the hell you know it won't happen? You got a crystal ball you look through!

Gentlemen we need to consider this before we start talking of beating Bama in the title game. USCe will not be a pushover as we will still be short several key players, Mizzou will give us a good game, Kentucky is still Kentucky so no problem there but and I hate to say this but the Vandy game might be our shocker as I guarantee you they will bring their A game. The Vols winning out is NOT a sure thing. I sincerely hope we do and would love to be in the SEC title game but I'll not be shocked if we fail somewhere along the line.

Did you see the game Saturday? Did you see who was coaching Bama and who was coaching Tennessee? Did you see the players they had versus the players we had? They had 2 guys as good as Barnett on their DL. They have 8 1st round picks on their starting 22. We have Barnett and that is it.

That is how I know it won't happen.

Yeah I'm sure if Dobbs had more than 1.5 seconds for anything to develop down the field that would have not made any difference nor would it have had any effect on our running game after hitting a few intermediate or long passes, nor would it have had any effect on our defense getting worn down or abused. I can totally see your point!

We got drilled no doubt. We, when healthy, are much more talented than we have been in several years. The past couple years we have played Bama much better than this with younger less talented teams.

And with an off week while Bama played. Just sayin'...

"We had freshmen linemen" was the excuse three years ago. Still applicable?

And if Texas had Colt McCoy...

If you had those three back, we get Derrick Henry back too, you know, long as we're in a fantasy world where injuries and the NFL aren't a reality.

Did your coach think no one would ever be injured, and therefore not recruit and develop backups?

"Good as Barnett" - a little over exaggeration there.

Our defense was terrible, weak and slow before the injuries. Nothing would change the outcome from people being back. Did you see their QB and RB easily outrun our defense, many of them starters?

Except most of our defense in that game weren't the starters... to say that having our 1st team defense at full strength during that game wouldn't have made a sizable difference is crazy. Now we still would have had lots of problems on the offensive side of the ball IMO, but if we had had Sutton, JRM, Kirkland, and others for that game, we would have stood a much better chance. You realize we were playing 3rd string at some positions?

To say that our 1st team defense at full force is terrible.. that just makes you lose all credibility in your argument
