UF will lose - if nothing else in the SECCG
We will get moderately healthy.
We will have our best season in decades.
If you like a glass half empty we have shot our playoff hopes in the foot so there is still plenty to ***** about.
If you like it half full we still have a chance at an SEC title.
If we are lucky we have a second crack at Bama.
If we are lucky we won't have a second game against Bama :)

I'd still take that loss and beating all our east rivals over previous years results.

No I am not asking you to settle, ***** away.

Plus we have shot our playoff hopes in the foot so there is still plenty to ***** about if one proves false and we finish 10-2.

If we finish 10-2 and miss the SECCG do we get a New Years 6 game, Orange or Sugar?

If we make the SECCG and lose will that drop us to Cotton, Outback, Citrus?

Yes :)

Who knows how many undefeated teams by close of the year. One would assume at least 3.

Well said DD.

At the end of the year hopefully UT fans can look back and see what a big year this has been for the program.

We could have zero injuries and the team rested and at full strength and still not come within 3TD's of Bama.

We are through our hardest games and are finally playing for something other than the Gator Bowl. Usually at this time of year our games are nothing but bragging rights and have no SEC implications. This is improvement. About as steady as I've ever seen.

Still a great fan base. If we win 15 next year, there will still be something to gripe about. That picture of the kid on the beach with his fist up describes our fan base to a T. Fight to the death. We get the last word regardless.

Not so sure of this. We had 3 Freshman OL, one of which played his first college snaps against Bama, a Junior with 2 ankles bad enough to send him to the bench for several games, and a Sophomore who played most of the game with torn ligaments in his hand on the oline. In all 16 starters at some point this year out with injuries. Not a recipe for winning against the best defensive front in the land. This game would have looked a lot different with even the oline we fielded against GA.

Possibly 4, Baylor has a very easy schedule. The Pac12 is as much of a dumpster fire as the SECE this year, so Washington as well. Alabama. Clemson doesn't have much competition left on their schedule. Either Michigan or Ohio State, my money is on Michigan.

Yeah, they would have beaten us 49-17. Bama is not only better in personnel in depth but they are light years better in coaching.

We will get rolled again by a similar margin only to have the sheep come out and defend 3SB (3-star Butch) and Shoop's overrated ass.

Yeah I'm sure if Dobbs had more than 1.5 seconds for anything to develop down the field that would have not made any difference nor would it have had any effect on our running game after hitting a few intermediate or long passes, nor would it have had any effect on our defense getting worn down or abused. I can totally see your point!

We got drilled no doubt. We, when healthy, are much more talented than we have been in several years. The past couple years we have played Bama much better than this with younger less talented teams.

There are six more football weekends remaining in the season. As teams in the top #18 play one another, we will move up the standing of the top # 25. A & M plays "O" Bama, T.O.S.U. plays Wisconsin, Michigan plays T.O.S.U. etc. etc.
We will be around # 10 or # 11 the weekend prior to the SECCG. Should we not make it to the SECCG, we will still be in a great bowl game.

OSU already beat Wisconsin

hypothetical question for all of the gripers: If we are able to win out, make it to the SEC championship, and actually win an SEC championship, will you still feel as if the season is a complete failure and talk so negatively about Butch and company?

If you told me before the season that we go 10-2 and make it to the SEC champ game, I would have taken that result regardless of how the games played out. It hasn't been the prettiest road traveled and we have had a ridiculous number of injuries, BUT, we still have a chance at a pretty successful season. We have been in the dumpster for too long to sit here and piss and moan about every little thing. If you can't step back, look at the big picture, and see steady improvement since Butch has gotten here, then I'm not sure what you are looking at.

LOL.....like that will happen. That is a hypothetical question because it ain't happening. We are too poorly coached and we are weak. Our defense has sucked even before the injuries.

We have 7 weeks to get ready for a rematch. We have 5 scrimmage games and an open date. It is time to work in some of the youngsters with some meaningful snaps and get them ready to go. There is no reason these guys can't come up with a plan to get everyone as healthy as possible and build some depth. Nobody is unbeatable. Bama is good, but they have some weaknesses. This is where the coaches need to earn their money.

I'm happy with this season already:

I grew up about 30 mins from Blacksburg. Can't stand Virginia Tech and their arrogant fans, we embarrassed them on the biggest football stage ever.

I loathe Florida and their trash-talking players, we came back from 21 behind and shut them up quick.

I don't really hate UGA that much, but man it was fun to break their hearts after seeing them celebrate their first "big win" under Kirby.

My goal for this team as a fan has been to represent the east in the SECCG. If we can lay it all on the line and win it, possibly spoiling playoff hopes for Saban, I would be over-the-top.
