It was bound to happen

At times I've successfully fooled myself into thinking, "oh, maybe all of this isn't as bad as it seems right now"--Then I see headlines like this.

Of course, we should all be mindful of the source. After seeing Mike Griffith's list of coaches, it's abundantly clear (if it wasn't before) that he just makes stuff up.

Do you think that is strange that he didn't feel the time was right when Pearl was coach? They seem adore each other.

Not really. It's odd to think of yourself coaching alongside somebody you played under. At least I imagine it would be. I'm thinking of how I would feel teaching with people that I had as professors. Really strange.

I've not read the article, but I swear to God, if he's serious about being the next head coach ya'll should disown him

I see it the other way. Many players return to coach on the staff that they played for.

They do, but I think they usually wait a few years first. It's strange to think of it right after you graduate. After a few years, it starts making more sense. Maybe I'm wrong though; I have no data. Just my guess.
