Yep. I truly believe that he was Currie's "guy". There were no other calls made, and Currie actually thought this would excite the fanbase. Delusional clown.

I said it all along that Currie knew the day or days before Jones's firing that GS was his man...I'm sure it was a done deal from the start!!!!

Absolutely agree. There is a reason we haven't heard any news of the past 2 months - it's because there was none to be had. Currie was patiently waiting for Schiano to finish out the season and to sign with Tennessee. He may have made some weak attempts at some other candidates to appear busy, but it was never an authentic attempt.

What I’d give to know if he even really contacted anyone other than GS. The Kelly camp said he turned down an offer from UT......I’d bet money that was a planted story by Currie himself

I could have hired Schiano. The guy has been begging for a job for four years. You pay an AD a million a year to do something special.

Well there is the reason Currie said unless you hear it from me its not true...He was right!...We didn't hear anything that was the truth at all.
