They're probably sick of losing. They're probably sick of Head Coach who makes excuse after excuse instead of taking responsibility for his actions. And that is fine to be pissed off. I am pissed off that we can not put it together and get a win. But to go off on someone about how far DD is up some one's rectum is just not very polite. Our running game sucked last year. It's better this year.

We were spent by halftime of every major game last year. This year we still have some fight left in us after halftime (save the FL game.)

We played Georgia incredibly close. If you can watch that game and say we haven't improved, I don't know what to tell ya.

I'm just saying we are showing signs of improvement. For a team as decimated as we were, that's something.

Do I always want us to lose to the top teams? No. But I believe we are on our way back to being a top team.

If Dooley is fired, which he could still save his job by winning out, then Tn will have a search like they always have, and will give a formal offer to Gruden, most likely, for a job that will actually be open at that time.
Or you can believe that Tennessee's billionaire donors have already signed Gruden to a contract, and he's already assembled a staff, and they have revealed their super-secret plans to nerds who spend ten hours a day on a message board. If that helps you cope, knock yourself out.

What gives you faith that Tennessee is one the way back? A lot of other teams in the SEC are young. The staff is not recruiting at the level of the Tennessee's top competitors and there is nothing in Dooley's background to suggest he can build a top tier program.
