So a guy that commentates & hasn't coached in roughly 5 years is a real coach?

Lol. Taking a break doesn't erase all your experience. I'd have to say a guy with a superbowl ring is a real coach.

Some of these people getting a little drunk on Dool-Aid.. set the cup down and move away..

We don't have any games left. People are so caught up in this Gruden mess (Which is all fake ) that they forget that the season is only at the halfway mark. People are getting there hopes up about Gruden when in reality we will probably hire at best Charlie Strong.

Support Dooley and this team. Stop buying into false dreams and LIES.

I hope Dooley wins saturday so we don't have to ever hear about this gruden **** ever again.

Sheezy this is Cheezy Wheezy Sleezy

Lol he had plenty of time. He actually thought we were there this year.He needed the Florida and Miss State games. No progress, and he has talent. See Ya.

Ya. Unproductive, whiney, soft, immature, *****like talent. If tweeting and sideline tantrums were touchdowns, we'd be 6-0 and the number one team in the nation with wins over Bama + Florida.

If dooley wins on Saturday he's not fired.

if he loses on Saturday he's not fired.

People need to get over the fact that Dooley is the man he just needs time.

How much freaking time does the guy need? He's been here 3 years and still isn't competitive with SEC teams. It would be one thing if we were coming close to beating some of these good opponents, but it's just the same crap as always. In 2016 are we going to still be starting 0-5 in conference play and sheep like you continue to say "He just needs more time."?

I'm sorry but the "needs more time" argument just doesn't hold water for me anymore. If it wasn't for the same mistakes, poor play-calling, poor clock management, no discipline, throwing the players under the bus, not taking responsibility, sideline tantrums, etc, etc, etc,....then I would agree that he needs more time. Unfortunately for Dooley (and the fans) these things are still going on in year 3 of his tenure. Time for a change.

"He" doesn't compete. The team competes. The team is becoming competitive with SEC teams. They aren't winning ... yet. Dooley has been here 3 years and the roster is better than when he arrived. It was better in year 2 and improved in year 3. There is no senior on the team that he recruited and only a very few juniors that he managed to even sign in his first year.

I am not content with just being competitive but recognize it as a step along the journey. The meltdown is fed by a relentless bashing and that won't allow the progress to continue. IF ... IF ... he is replaced with anything short of a perfect choice (and that is probably limited to 1 individual) it will be another 3 years of whining and gnashing of teeth.

For now, against all these top 10 teams, I would have been too. Unfortunately, the team either gets flat blown out or only chooses to show up for part of the game against good teams. By year 3 that's simply not good enough.

I can't wait for the meltdown when Gruden doesn't come here. It will be epic.

I am betting that Dooley will be here next season also.

(1) Gruden will not come to U.T. He makes alot of money at MNF for 1/2 the effort of being a head coach.
He gets national exposure. He technically works just 17 days per year. He does not have to deal with 18 - 22 year olds.

Charlie Strong will not end up at U.T. Kentucky, Arkansas & Auburn need new coaches also. They will likely get him while we are dragging our feet with Gruden.

Quit abandoning ship like a drowning rat!
We've got 5 games left & we should win 4 of them...just keep in mind that the combined record of our SEC games is 27-1! No one else has beaten them either!!!

Dooley will be rightfully fired after the season imo. Will we get Gruden? Hope so, not counting on it though. We will find a good PROVEN head coach.

It's time to bring Tennessee back. Doolaid drinkers be dam$ed.
