Urban Meyer is one of the most overrated coaches, maybe all time.

Do you know that he had Alex Smith at Utah. Alex was the #1 rated QB out of HS. Once Alex was gone Urbie was gone.

Tebow made Urbie. Looked at Florida after Tebow, Meyer was still coach, and look at how horrible Florida is this year.

He might be successful at Ohio St. but I could be successful there.

He and his wife are from Ohio. His mentor is Earle Bruce & his Idol is Woody Hayes. What do you think he was thinking taking that job?

He's also a pretty good recruiter. But he quits recruiting when he gets tired and "wants to spend time with God and family".

I give him 4-5 at Ohio State before he leaves for a break, only to reappear the following year.

So he goes and gets a QB that can play his system. Nothing wrong with that. All he does is win. I have no doubt he will be successful at Ohio State. As much as I hate him, the man can coach and I would live to have a coach that just wins.

With those 3 at uf, then Coach Dooley would have 2 nc rings.

I agree. Don't forget Hoke is a pretty good coach also, he will give Myer some troubles I believe, not to mention some others. But nonetheless, SEC schools will still kick their ass.

No. I can't stand the way he coaches offense.

And I just really don't like him. Reminds me of Satan. Not that I have met the guy, but I have read about him on the Internet.

LOL. So there's nothing he can do to show he's an excellent coach? He brought in all his great players, hired his great coaches and it yielded great results. That tells me he's a great coach.
