It looks like no matter who Tenn Hires, there is no way everyone likes it and will *****..

Steele, lost at Baylor, (of course so did every coach before him and after, till Briles and his boy scouts came along and Baylor turned a Blind eye)

Tee, Never Been a HC, turned Butch down, blah blah

Brohm, went 6-6 at Purdue. (of course they only won 3 the year before,)

Petrino, slept with a 30 year old blond while married ( The Horror)

Gruden, inherited a team, lost games in NFL, blah blah

Leach, curses like a pirate, doesn't play defense,

Dabo, Lost lots of games early on, couldn't win the big one until year 7

Saban, Cant win the big one anymore, Clemson, then Aub, and he cusses at players,, Blah Blah

Cutcliff, Too Old,,,Blah Blah..

Maybe its just me but ........

It's not just you. We are all exhausted and ready to find a new coach that can take us to a championship level. Gotta give Fulmer a chance to find the right one. My fingers are crossed. GBO!!!

I’m not a Grudenite but I am surprised he is viewed as someone who won with Dungys talent. Remember he faced the Raiders in that Super Bowl and they were built by him. So he did build the Raiders into a Super Bowl team before then beating them with the Bucs.

I think up and comers are off the list because the price of failure at UT (which is virtually certain) is exile to football Siberia at best and potentially never working in the business again. Too many other good choices or just stay put and take a raise. Most likely we will get an old boy who needs a brief gig to subsidize a better retirement. Time to get real.

Man one of the top offensive minds in college football and he cannot get a better job than Washington State. Wow. I am shocked. One would figure big time programs like Georgia, Florida, TAMU, Miami, FSU or Texas would have went after him.

Damitol, give it a friggin' break!

Quit bellyaching about something that hasn't happened. Is your Magic 8 Ball that good? At least wait until something happens.

Fulmer "contacted" one or more coaches and it became huuuuuuuuge news! He could have been asking an opinion. Maybe he was seeing if there was interest.

Instant news is not always accurate and is usually premature.

I'll hang up and listen. GO BIG ORANGE!

Makes you wonder, doesn’t it?

Maybe Fulmer should go back and talk to the 'Cowboy for Life'. Question about Fulmer's AD job. Are AD's typically on contract? First time I've heard of that. If yes and Fulmer only has 2 years (what I heard), then wouldn't a prospective coach be uneasy knowing that he may be at odds with a replacement AD only after 2 years?

Fulmer is "at will." He can go or be let go at any point. His salary is much less that carrion Currie at a documented $575K.
