Let's face it. You can NOT win the KY derby with a mule. We simply don't have the players to compete.

Courtest of JohnnyJava (vn poster):
247 Sports has updated their overall team talent rankings for 2018. UT is 14th, right behind Florida. Somewhat surprisingly to me, Ohio State edged out Bama for first. Georgia is 3rd, LSU 6th, Auburn 11th.

So, UT is the 6th most talented SEC team according to this composite:

It ain’t what it ain’t. We ain’t any good. We ain’t developed any players yet, especially up front. Our Qb’s aint gonna survive the season.

We’ve got every bit as much talent as Kentucky, Vandy, SC, and Mizz but we’ll likely get boat raced in those games. Many teams with far less talent than us are significantly better football teams.

Funny you say that...yet...Trey Smith is (supposedly) an All American Offensive lineman...who last night looked like a matador, waving Defensive Ends by to hit JG from the blind side. And there are some highly recruited players on Tennessee's Roster that Should be able to take simple directions...i.e. hold on to the ball, hit your designated man, go here and block this man etc
