OK,
I have been on the fence for a while now. I like Fulmer as a person and like him as the "face" of Tennessee football. The fact that he is a native and alum is nice.
However,
I am watching the college week in football recap on ESPN, watching the Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, LSU, Georgia, Missouri, Penn State (the old man Jo Pa is still getting it done), USC, Oklahome State and VANDY for god sake highlights and realize that we MUST make a change ASAP.
I used to feel like Fulmer would get the edge back but he has not done anything significant in 7 years. SEVEN years. Saban has been at bamma for TWO and look what he has done. Richt at GA has been consistant as has Mack Brown, as has Stoops at OK, as has that idiot Miles at LSU, as has Meyers at Fl.
I have exhausted every possibility I can. Are we recruiting the wrong guys? Are we just a play or two away? Are we just having a REALLY LONG bad luck streak?
If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck and smells like a duck IT IS A DUCK.
I am now behind a movement to remove Fulmer and his cronies ASAP. I am willing to take my chances with someone else.
Fulmer himself set a standard which he can't live up to. We are already a non factor in the SEC and nation. If this keeps up we will be on the losing end of a streak with Vandy and Kentucky.
