I am so f'ing pumped for this game! I love the potential this team carries and I love all the things I am hearing from players and coaches alike. It is time for Tennessee to come out tomorrow and put these cats away and do it in impressive fashion. I want blood! I want a defining statement win. I want us to be so impressive that Mark May and Lou Holtz can't help but mention us late Saturday night on Gameday Final. I want it all to come together like it did for the Ole Miss game last year. Crowd needs to be wild, get on em early and let's get to being talked about again. I respect the hell out of our opponent and know they are a quality team but I am just so damn pumped for this game and even though I won't be at the game, I hope all fans present will do their part and help this young team get closer to what we expect and are used to at Tennessee.

Now, I have to get back to work and then go to the liquor store and start early for the weekend come 5pm.

I know this post will get made fun of but guys I am just waiting for that one Saturday to come along where it just feels like things are getting back to normal for us. Hoping tomorrow is that day.

GO VOLS!!!!

Won't happen but it'd be hilarious if we did them like they did AP, 72-10.

Good luck to you guys. While we have rivalries with Pitt and WVU that get me pumped up... lets face it. It's nothing like playing an SEC team.

You guys have a good forum here. It kept me sane lurking around it this week. Hopefully I run into some nice Vols fans when I come down to tailgate. My experience has been pass a round of beers out to the opposing teams fans parked next to you and you will have a pretty pleasant time. Hopefully Neyland is as good as I have heard.

I think the Vols are going to squeak this one out airing it on our secondary... but I think it should be a good measuring stick for both teams. I think you may be impressed with our team, just like OU fans were when we went to Norman. Or perhaps I will be depressed by our team... Who knows, but the Bud Light will make everything okay.

EDIT:: Do you guys sell Yuengling in Tenn? It's my favorite beer, but KY and OH don't sell it.

Classy post! Enjoy your trip to Neyland this weekend. I think it will exceed your expectations. You may encounter a few jackhole fans, but on the whole Tennessee fans are good people to be around.

We hope you enjoy the experience as well! Knoxville is a great college town and a great place to watch a game. It actually seems odd that UC does not appear on the schedule with more frequency. Also it's really one of the shortest trips I think UC can make to play a game as far as fan travel. I think there will be quite a contingent down from Ohio.

And yes Yuengling is pretty easy to find! Good luck... But GO VOLS!

We have this "rivalry" with Miami (OH) thats about 45 minutes away. Ever since Big Ben left for the Steelers it has been dominated by UC. When we play at Miami we usually have over 50% of the crowd covered.

It sucks that our school still does a 1-1 home/away with them, but it's close enough to make a trip. No room to tailgate though. Their school is filled with a bunch of preppy douches. Poppin' collars everywhere. Not as bad as tOSU fans though....

1. Yes we do sell yuengling in TN...various types too such as black/tan(no racism), porter, light...any of the aforementioned are better than Bud Light

B I think you will have a great time as overall the fanbase here is real cool...yes we do have our share of idiots...but hopefully they will still be on hold for the pre game call in show and you will not encounter them. You may like our coeds...if you are into that sorta thing.

III. Welcome and I hope you have a good time...not great as that would mean you win...just a good time.

cafemerald, you should have a good time. Vol fans normally save their hate for other SEC fans, and save their true hate for UF/UGa/Bama Fans.

Every Montana fan I talked to last weekend (I talked to LOTS) really had a good time, even considering the weather and the loss.

I was told that this southern hospitality thing is for real.

Welcome to KnoxVegas. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas...... mostly because we can't rememnber.

Looking forward to the trip as well. Have enjoyed my time visiting your board and have read a lot of funny and informing stuff. Hoping to have a fun trip and enjoy the company of some Vol fans. Best of luck to you guys, but no offense, hopefully the Bearcats sneak out of Neyland with a victory.

I go to atleast one good away game a year and from what I have seen, Ohio has the ugliest girls in America. Sure you have your hot ones, but they are few and far between.

I'm sure UT will please my eyes and hopefully other parts of my body if things go terribly right. I'm hoping you guys can beat out OU girls in Norman. I don't know what it is about that place, maybe the fresh cow milk, but damn.

We will definitely give OU a run for their money and then take the house.

You can't swing a dead cat without knocking over a pack of Yuengling. It's everywhere.

I'll admit to a bias, but I think UT fans are gracious to visitors to the extreme. In fact we dazzled two couples from Missoula so much that they wouldn't leave (even when we locked everything down for the storm...they were like "windy - ain't it?).

My experience has been to pass a round of beers out

Not necessary but you can't go wrong with that kind of attitude.

"Cincinnati, which travels to Tennessee on Saturday, hasn’t won a road game against a current SEC team since 1911 when the Bearcats won at Kentucky. The SEC didn’t begin as a conference until 1933. Cincinnati is 0-30-1 in road games against current SEC opponents since then." -SEC BLOG ESPN

Scary... Lets keep this record going!!! GO VOLS

Love that statement about the idiots on the pre-game call in show, I listened to it during the rain delay last week and it was brutal. It's bad enuff havin to listen to Kesling but then these idiot fans call in with the stupidest questions. Scary thing is that they are driving around every day among us, probably in the fast lane with their blinker on doing 20 mph. Go Vols!
