So being that Friday is here, Hamilton you need to get something done TODAY!!! I have not got regular sleep all week because of this betrayal by Kiffin. I know we need the "right" hire but come on people. We can not continue to be "turned down" by these offensive co. and defensive co.... TENNESSEE not Stanford or some school like that. As a fan base, and as football players on the team we should not have to be going through this. There should be a line waiting to be interviewed. So I say Hamilton you better make a move TODAY and bring someone in (with energy) so our players can get down to buisness and recruits will keep Tennessee in their mind. Plus I am ready to start getting at least 6 hours of sleep again.




GO VOLS. Make something happen!!!

So, in your mind, MH can simply point to a (presumed) deserving candidate, and he should be overwhelmed and accept the job with gracious tears or joy?

Tennessee is still a premier school with great history and prestige. If you seriously step back and look at the timing, along with the circumstances of this hire, you wouldn't be suprised at our lack of success thus far in the hiring process. Any big name coach, currently with a successful BCS team, would have to abandon their team. We know how that feels, and most coaches don't have it in them.

Guys we rumor to be interested, or assume are on "our list" really never have much interest at all.[ex: Gruden, Stoops, Dungy, Muschamp, Patterson, Smith, etc., etc., etc.]

I think David Cutcliffe will be name coach, and I am not personally happy with that. If we are settling for "that level", then why not give Kippy a shot. Offer him 2-3 years, and ensure him funds to have a good staff.

My point to this rant, is that we, passionate fans of UT, have been through a ton! However, We must keep reasoning in our logic and demands. This is a volatile job that WILL NOT garner instant success, and will be HEAVILY scrutinized by 100,000+ ever weekend, and thousands more every other day.

I really hope something happens today, I am sick and tired of all of weeding through all of these pointless rumors....By the way I heard Lloyd Carr will be interviewed today for the position. Musberger mentioned last night during the Michigan bball game he was almost the only person that hasn't been mentioned in the search and I didn't want him to feel left out...
