That we are as bad as we are. Defense, offense, heck all around. As hard as it is to accept though, I understand why. We have a team full of players who went through the ringer and weren't coached for their entire career at UT. We do have Playerscoming in who will be coached in a positive environment, unlike the past few years. It kills me to be this bad, but I'm not gonna hate on the players or coaches. Support our team now, it may be their best and I'm glad for what they've done. Butch will get us back, it'll just take time.

I support our team. I don't support the offensive play calling. Bajakian constantly calls plays that take us out of rhythm and are long developing plays that start behind the LOS. Just terrible. Now I realize that Dobbs was inept last night but I have seen this horrible offense driving down the field only to be play called out of a score in several games. I have little confidence that coach Jake is going to get us anywhere calling like he does. Hope I'm wrong next year. Sucks to say that again.

Great post by the op. If someone is a TRUE VOLS fan they need to understand and have a little compassion for what this group of young men have been through. I HATE to loose but I am all VOLS and believe we should give the current staff time to rebuild the program. Butch Jones will turn our program around. Its funny everyone loves a winner a true fan sticks with their team through thick and then!

There's a fine distinction between "hate" and constructively criticizing the current position of the coaching staff.

This hurts to read but so true. I'm finally realizing we most likely will never be at a championship level at Tennessee again. I guess we should look back and appreciate the time we had.

Definately a tough time being a Tennessee fan. I honestly think we need a blue chip quarterback for this system that runs this system and a tight end because of the system. I just have a hard time seeing a sec caliber quarterback on the roster right now. I want to say Ferguson but not sure for this system he will work. Sunshine pumpers needed

Quality post. This system doesn't work at this level without an elite QB. Period.
