I'll have whatever you're drinking. No it is not. There were two top 150 guys in CCM class along with the 7'1 dude coming in. You're boy Tyndall hasn't even scratched that yet.

Dude, give it a rest. Mostella wasnt committed more than 2 minutes before you started posting about his grades. You have made it obvious to EVERYONE on this board that it is impossible for you to be happy or to speak positively regarding anything UT basketball. Take your moaning somewhere else. You are literally destroying this board. This is a place for vol fans. You are clearly not one.

My apologies, let me put my orange shades on...

Detrick Mostella is a straight A student who has no academic concerns at all. His path leading to prep school, and committmemt to 2 different schools while not playing a game at either was simply a mixture of misfortune and computer errors. This also is the primary reason for having NCAA clearinghouse issues as it has nothing to do with classroom performance and everything to do with his teachers picking on him. However, he will get cleared and will score 47ppg next year leading the Vols to the 2015 national championship and becoming the first Vol ever to be taken #1 in the NBA Draft.

Seriously though, you seem more hung up on the clearinghouse issue with this kid than anyone else. It's certainly an issue, but everything I've read seems optimistic --- unless I've missed something. :dunno:

It's the NCAA clearinghouse, that's all that really needs to be said. Pearl and staff were optimistic Daniel West was gonna be cleared before the season too, then mid season, and definitely by seasons end....

I don't think Florida thought Chris Walker had issues, then all of a sudden the NCAA gets involved and takes 6 months to clear him and 3/4 of their season is over before ruling him eligible.

I know the staff is very optimistic, but nothing should be assumed when dealing with the NCAA, the Pearl saga should be enough for any Vol fans to know how the NCAA operates.

I feel like I'm cautiously optimistic, I wouldn't count him as a sure thing, if that makes me an Alabama fan so be it I guess.

He's definitely not a sure thing. That's fair. Your posts just make it sound like a bit more than caution when you're ranking the class without him in it. JMO.

It has nothing to do with being cautious. It is you in every single thread whining about Coach Martin, or inferior recruits, or problems with new signees, or a number of other things. We get it. You are unhappy and obviously a miserable human being. I tried placing you on ignore, but you spew so much garbage that it is constantly quoted because of how preposterous it is.

Ive posted ranks both ways, I felt like it was fair given the conversation. Obviously the look of this class can greatly vary with the decision of the NCAA clearing house.

No doubt it makes a difference. As of this afternoon he was 1/3 of the class.

Frankly I don't know. He was a UT commit for a couple hours. If he qualifies at Cal I'll go out on a limb and say he would at UT x10. I don't know, I'm not following Cal and Cuonzo.

this is not intended to spread rumors, but I have heard from a friend of a friend (so take it with a grain of salt, however the 2nd friend is aparently a grad assistant) that apparently donnie came into one of the initial players meetings when he was just being introduced to everyone (and this was predeparture for thompson, davis and recruits) and was throwin around f-bombs and cussin like no ones business and not being very mature.

has anyone else heard about his mouth? or other personality traits of CDT?
