It’s Time We All Accept It....

Just move us to the Big Ten West. We'd have 9 win seasons, occasional loss to Florida, Georgia, or Bama in semi-important bowl games so the traditionalists can feel that old pain we've all come to know

I accepted, this year, after JG single handedly won the game for UGA and this staff still rolled him out against UK.
I honestly barely watched tonight’s game. I’d check in on it every so often but never had and care what was actually happening.
After the previous 3 games and having an entire bye to get a new QB ready and they still, again, roll out JG I wasn’t gonna waste my time watching the game and I sure wasn’t gonna be emotionally invested.

This is complete bs. We have the facilities and fan base to match any program in the country. Problem is, we’ve made some horrible coaching hires and should have never fired Fulmer when we did. The right coach could bring us back to competing for championships . I’m not confident we can make the right hire though.

Lol. Our facilities aren’t top notch anymore. This ain’t 10 years ago. We are nowhere near this storied program that some fans continue to hold onto. We have 2 NCs in the past 60 years.

Outscored 88-7 the last 4 games in the 2nd half. I guess if we'd only scored 3 we could say it's worse.

We are a bad football team and a bad coached football team. Year 3 and there's no excuse for the cluster we are seeing.

Already accepted. Turned the TV off around halftime of the Kentucky game. Didn't bother to watch the Bama game. I realized that I would rather spend time playing board games with my boys. I remember bonding with my dad over UT football but the current product is a hard sell. Maybe it's rose colored glasses but the team felt more fun to watch back then. We lost plenty of games but the team at least went down swinging.
I watched the whole game tonight because I wanted to be sure. I had been on the fence on if Pruitt could cut it and tonight solidified it for me that he cannot.

This team got Jap slapped at home by KY. This team lost by 11.....after being up 13-0, to Arkansas who has been horrible and has a new coach.

You think they would suddenly be “decent” in the B10 west? Not saying it’s a juggernaut.....but they gots plenty of Kentucky’s and Arkansas’s.

We smack them around routinely. Dunno if this year's team would be .500 or better but we'd average 8 wins if you put the last ten teams in the Big Ten

I think it’s time we accept it. I think it will make it easier for all of us if we just accept that UT is not a good football program and probably never will be again. Yes we were pretty dominant in the 90’s and UT is a storied program with a winning past but the fact is those days are over. Times have changed. You can’t go through this many years of turmoil and chaos and survive. From top to bottom this program is bad.
I agree with you. Notre Dame gives me some hope that a storied program like us that has gone way down can still get back to being in the National championship picture.

I don’t think ND is amazing, but I thought that program was dead at one point and past their prime. Everything runs in cycles. Just hoping our time will come around again.

I’m going into a dormant stage and will not invest as much emotional attachment to the program until there are changes. It may be years or never again. Of course if HB starts next week......I may change my mind.

The guy that drove the program into the ditch was given the keys to the athletic department and to expect championships or competitive excellence from a mediocre mind like Fulmer is laughable
"That guy" had teams that were a heck of a lot more fun to watch and didn't bleed Alabama crimson. Say what you want about Coach Fulmer, but I would much rather watch his teams on YouTube than the mess we put on the field today.

ND was in the national championship game in 2013 while we just finished with that bozo Dooley. We are not comparable.

On another note, those thinking Saban is laughing are sadly mistaken. Saban doesn’t give a rip or even think about Tennessee except a few days in the year. If anybody is happy with our plight it’s Beldar and his family of old school gumps with an understanding of the rivalry. Saban has never worried about Tennessee because he’s beat our azzes like a rented mule. Tennessee means absolutely nothing to a Sabans Alabama.

With a lousy coach and COVID football may be leaving

The teams of the past 10+ years (especially Pruitts teams) always play down to their competition. It wouldn’t matter if we played in the same conference as Bobby Boucher Jr. and the South Central Louisiana State Mud Dogs our level of play would be equivalent. Saying we would average 8 wins is a bit of a stretch.

Sorry but you’re wrong about the facilities. And outside of Bama, LSU , AU, FL what other school has more NC’s the past 60 years?
