I love orange. Was disappointed multiple times with Barnes. Thought Tony V had us a natty. Then this year. The best year we have had. But there is a big but. We need three or four years as a josh fan.
But what’s the excuse for Barnes ? Tony V gets a pass.
Kellie this year is losing. But still you see. We don’t have auto natties. I hope josh is building a dynasty.

We are just not a good program. The only reason we are so highly ranked all-time in SEC was Neyland. Once Neyland left in 1950s, we have had some spurts but have been the most part mediocre. Even during Fulmer era, Florida and Spurrier owned us for the most part and we only had 2 Conference Titles and that 1998 miracle run.

Considering we had the curtains out for Tyndall and Cuonzo, Barnes can do no wrong. He’s a guaranteed tourney berth and top 10-20 ranking almost every year. He’s being the caretaker of our basketball program while setting it up for the next coach. Deacon Barnes can do no wrong.

This kind of loss sinks programs and coaches. If the NFL comes knocking in the off-season, Heupel might should give the offer serious consideration.

That's a significant overstatement. You were in the cfp discussion to the last couple of weeks. Every year a half dozen teams are in the same position you are. You pick yourself up off the mat and go forward. Still tons to accomplish.

The secondary was always the issue this year. Anybody could see it. Don’t have the personnel back there and a garbage bin position coach. The thing is that the DL and the LBs have been able to get pressure and that has helped.
This game was a perfect storm. All the crap talking, playing on the road, whatever happened to Jeremy Banks, and Carolina playing out of their minds. Hooker goes down. For some reason, ZERO pressure on Rattler. All that worked together to make this a debacle.

You guys got your own problem to deal with right now. The quicker you move on from it, the better.

Every time that was mentioned.. many on here would say it doesn't matter because our offense is so good. Hopefully they're reevaluating that stance.

Everything to play for and they just choked it all away in a game they were favored to win by 21 points.

I’d literally burn all my Tennessee **** tonight, if not for the fact I’d have to buy more Tennessee **** to burn next year!
I gave all of mine away and had really quit being a fan after the sociopolitical mess of two years ago….along with a TON of personal stuff going on. I’d just begun to occasionally watch a game and never get torn up about it. Then I got back on the wagon and started caring this year (personal life straightened out some for me)……then this. It was MUCH nicer being a casual fan for two years. This stuff is SO stupid to get worked up over. A hundred years from now, we’ll all be dead and this stuff won’t mean 💩. Just isn’t enjoyable anymore.

Barnes isn’t going to offer a reprieve this year. Basketball is going to be the ugliest year for Barnes since Kevin Punter was on the court. Losing programs find ways to disappoint fans and lose.
